Can Horses eat Safflower seed?

6 posts in this topic

I'm currently feeding BOSS to my guys but they aren't as shiny as I'ld like them to be. The also get about 1/2c of Veg. Oil in the PM feeding.

I was reading about Safflower seed and it seems to have a nice high fat content and Omega Fatty Acids also.

I was wondering if they are OK to feed to horses?

My feed store carries a BOSS/Saff/Sunflower chips mixture and I was going to try it.
