10AM April 1st will herald the annual fun show at Heritage Farms in Lexington, NC, hosted by Charlie and Milda Minter. A talented gray yearling raffle colt, Galante de Herencia, full brother to 2005 Reserve National and Reserve Grand National Champion Pleasure Gelding ,Galano del Bosque, will find a new home for a worthwhile charity.

They hope for a huge turnout for the stick horse class and Easter egg hunt. Paso Fino and open classes will be run for all ages and skill of rider and horse. Food and drinks will be available, but please bring chairs. Raffle tickets are available in advance and at the show. Bring the family and your Paso Finos for a relaxed day of fellowship. Negative Coggins required dated 4/2/05 or after (will be checked at entrance).
Helmets are required on all Paso Fino riders 12 & under at all times, allowed/optional for anyone else. Proper riding boots are required. Show clothing is not required but attire must be neat, safe and appropriate for family atmosphere. Unless specified as a Paso Fino class, classes are open to trotting or gaiting horses, all breeds welcome. Judge--Shaw Laney, Enoree, SC.
Concessions will be available on the grounds. Bring a chair.

I'm doing a trail ride on April 1, so I can't go (and it's a little far), but I highly recommend the barbeque in Lexington. Our favorite is the Barbeque Center, but there are other good places to get the 'cue also.
