We have a few great members down there! DriftinMom is in Penrose, ILoveSpots is near there as well and CindyP is over in Florissant. We had a great HC campout at CindyP's place the first weekend in August- what a blast! Most of us hang out over in General Chit Chat- come on down and get to know us. I would say we don't bite...but that's one of the things the colorado girls are famous for on this board

I get laughed at by the other girls because I'm the only one that trail rides in my dressage saddle. Dressage is my discipline of choice. I have a great trainer up here, but I got sick a couple years ago and had to stop our training. I have a bladder disease that makes sitting a trot unbearable. Now I mainly trail ride when I'm feeling well and I also drive. I've been toying with the idea of taking some driving dressage lessons. DriftinMom might be able to point you in the right direction as far as a trainer down in that area. I should have warned you about GCC- it can be addicting, lol!

I've been to Littleton. My husband's cousin lives there.
I'm originally from Wyoming. Have lived in California, Virginia, Ohio and Texas before retiring to Colorado last year.
Check out the General Chit Chat board. Most of the Colorado buds post there at one time or another. Start a thread there and tell us a little about yourself and what horses you have, if any. No worries if you don't have any. I didn't when I first joined HC.
I think you'll like it here. Explore the different threads and have fun.
