Hi From Ok, New here Options

Actually I think I used to have an account on here but that was a long time ago when they still had the free horse contests!

I'm in rural NE Oklahoma. Pretty much a stay at home Mom til the kids are all grown. We have 9 horses, 3 Arabians, 2 retired YMCA camp horses not sure what they are but one is more than likely an Appy cross. A grade welsh pony cross, and 3 minis.

Also we have chickens, a few heritage breed turkeys and dairy goats. I make goat milk soap with some of the milk from the dairy gals.

I really like clicker training and kind of ad that on to Natural horsemanship type stuff. We are just for fun here with no showing goals though someday I would like to do endurance and might get the girls involved in 4h or pony club at some point.

Anyway, just an introduction.

Hi Cara and welcome from another newbie. I have cousins that grew up in Oklahoma somewhere by Ponca City then in Broken Arrow. I've been there a couple times and really liked it.

Thanks for the welcome! My uncle and his family used to live in Ponca in a spooky old two story house. My family still loves to tell how I would cry until they let me ride their old horse .

Cara, I'm just about 45 minutes from Broken Arrow. I used to board my horses there before we moved away from Tulsa. That is a city that has really grown!
