Here are some pics from our ride in Benton City, WA on Sat Oct 31st! Lots of wind, but it was warm with the sun being out! Got to taste alot of really good wines. Can't wait to do it again next year. Thank you to the Purple Sage Riders out of Tri Cities, WA for hosting such a great ride. On to the pics... Friend Geri bundling up. Geri & Willy waiting to head out Headed to our first winery What a pretty picture Gorgeous scenery And the next one... On to the last one Paige & I, taking a break Great turnout Exhausted, ready to go home.

Nice pics! Aren't winerys pretty! We have a friend who owns one and it is such a pretty place to ride. Here's my daughter there last summer. Hey I have a horse that is a relative of yours and Horsing's. Our red dunn QH we got this spring for my hubby is named Reed's Smokin Reba. Here she is. We call her Sierra, but I love her. So easy to ride she doesn't spook, she goes where she is pointed and although she doesn't rush through things, she is always ready to go. Very nice bloodlines IMHO!

I pulled the copy of the papers of "Niņo" out of my filing cabinet to check his bloodlines. His sire was Impressive Reed; he was an Impressive grandson on the top, grandson of Lucky Joe Glo on the bottom. Foaled in Colorado, owned originally by someone in New Mexico. Are our horses cousins?
Funny, with Quarter Horses, there is enough variety and numbers of horses in the bloodlines that many horses are not even remotely related. Midnight Sun's name appears three times on my Tennessee Walker's papers, and on just about every walking horse out there, it seems--they're all cousins!

I've met Board Buddies: CrazyTrailAdventurer, BigHeart, Zmecky, and ridden a few times with Mrs. Siseley and Siseley...on that nice grey mare! Have I missed anyone? Looking forward to meeting more BBs!
