Okay, so I cleaned Dude up and took some pics to send with his paperwork to the Pinto Association. I'm haveing a hard time decideing on a few shots. so here they are.

1

2

3

4

5

And then some fun pics of Dude and Drifter.

Any input on the pics of Dude will be greatly apperciated. They are just for identifcation for the PtHA, so they're not 'confo' worthy.

Thanks in advance!

I choose the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th to get all angles of him for his markings.

Drifter sure is filling out! Looking more grown up.

Yeah, my main problem is between 3 and 4. 3 shows his feet better (even though I couldn't get them as clean as I'd like without water), but 4 is a better angle and just looks better all around (except for his feet not showing as good).
Thanks Bobbin!

1, 4 and 5! I don't even know what the requirements are for the photos, so I just picked the ones I liked!

He and Drifter are looking good!

Thanks Meekie. I think they look great too. Both were kinda sweaty from the heat and their winter coats today though.

Equi: I beleive it's the same requirements as APHA and AQHA. All angles (both sides, front, and back), all four feet have to be visiable, and I think that's really all that's needed.

Vicklynn: I'll call you in a bit while I'm feeding.

Thanks Jamie, but he's still got his 'giggles berries', unlike Dude! hehe!

Thanks Appylady! Actually he's doin' a little roaning out from that neck spot of his. I personally like his paw print on his rear! hehe!

Okay, I cleaned his feet up after his workout today and took some new pics. I hope these are better, still didn't have any help though.

Then I grabbed my show halter and put it on Drifter to see how it looked. What do ya'll think??

My trailer is on the way...hehehe
If not for Reg, well, I can still bring my trailer rotf.gif

Thanks Vicklynn! I think these were 10 times better then the others.

No, Drifter won't get new pics on his papers (maybe) until he's older and done growin'. I was just seein' how my show halter looked on him. I think it'd looks good. In the last pic he wasn't really happy with me, I moved the stud chain over his nose instead of under his chin like the other pics.

It is so hard to get pics of horses without someone to help you when you are trying to get all the spots and leg markings in. Love all the pics of your boys Spiff. They are both very handsome fellows. shy

I know Shy! None of those shots, even with help, would I be able to get his little spot right inbetween his hips on his spine. Atleast in the 2nd pic you can see his lonely hoof stripe on his right hind hoof! hehe!
Thanks, I luff my boys soo much!!!

Thanks Appylady. They don't hve to be perfect shots, but they have to be good. They will be on his papers.

Thanks Meekie! I got that halter at a tack auction! Paid about $15 or $20 for it. Came with the stud chain show lead too. Had never been used so I had to oil it and shape it, the nose band was flat! Drifter gives me that look every now and then, like what ARE you doin' mom?? hehe!

Thanks Halo. I'm registering Dude with the PtHA (Pinto Association). I could get him on color alone if I gelded him, hence why he got gelded. To get your guy registered with the PtHA all you need is to know when he got gelded (if gelded) and fill out the registration paperwork. You don't need to know his pedigree as if he can't be registered with APHA (for some reason) PtHA will take him on color. When you register him with PtHA there won't be any names on his papers besides his and yours. No pedigree or anything. I'm sending Dude's dam and sire on the paperwork, but it won't be on his papers. I just thought it would be good for them to know his pedigree if they ever needed to.
Is that clear as mud for ya! hehe!
