meeker,

Glad you could get out on a nice day, even it was a short ride. At 32 your leo is doing real good to stay sound. You got to admire the older horses, they are trully a pleasure to own. I have 27 year old mare & 23 year old gelding, that put my main 12 year old gelding to shame. Glad Dakota is working well for you also. Best Wishes. PD

LOl i keep trying to retire leo but when i go out and ride if he doesnt get used he will go off his feed till we start using him again.... He odesnt like retirement i geuss but i only ride him everyonce inawhile im afraid ill over use him... BUt he doesnt have much for artheritis and he can still GO when he wants he may not be as fast as he used to be but he tries .... Hes my favorite lol... I just hate how going into winter he drops weight but atleast in the spring he will pick it back up again thankfully!!!

And Dakota i think hes going to be another Leo for me... I can walk upi to him in the pasture put a halter on and lead him anywhere with the rope draped over his neck... I also rode him up and down the road yesterday afterr hubby got off i jumped on bareback with just a rope halter and went out... No problems from him but he was testing Hubby the whole way yesterday lol i geuss he just likes me best grin.gif

Glad to see you and hubby enjoying horses together. I like the fuzzy's on Leo. He sure looks cute!

Significant others don't have to ride or do other hobbies together, but it is always so much more fun when you do.

Thanks for sharing.
