I dont go to many movies, but went with my daughter and grandson to Avatar. It's absolutely the best movie I have ever seen, because of the visual effects. We saw it in 3D. A dont miss as far as I'm concerned.

The fiancée and I went to see it yesterday for our anniversary, also in 3D. I looovvveeedd it. I think its a must own.

We ended up renting the game, just to see what it's like, too.

Our theater doesn't play movies in 3D, but hubby and I are looking forward to the 2D version coming out here so we can go. I am glad you guys have given it good reviews! The last movie I went to based on reviews here was "The Blind Side" and we both enjoyed that movie as well.

I dragged my whole family to see it last night. We couldn't see the 3D version, as it was sold out in all theaters for the next couple of days! But even the normal version was breathtaking!

My husband hates sci-fi sorts of films (never saw films like Star Wars...) he was really reluctant and grumbling.

He LOVED it! Kept talking about it all night, and this morning too. Great movie!

Not me!!!I was gripping my seat pretty hard a few times. Had to duck some things, too. Pretty realistic in 3D, my daughter even tried to shew some of those jellyfish looking things away by waving a hand at them.

Took the kids to see it yesterday in 3D. Absolutely loved it. Although the story plot was simplistic it was still great. Cameron has simply raised the bar. I want to go there!

I saw the 3D on Friday. It's by far the most incredible movie I've ever seen. The storyline IMO was wonderful, but EVERYONE needs to see the movie for the effects!

Mind blowing good!

I am TERRIFIED of the Avatar....creatures. The ads are constantly on Myspace and I have to quickly check what I need to check and get off. If I see an ad in a newspaper or something I turn the page. I was eating at McDonald's the other day and looked down at my tray and shreiked because the paper thing covering the tray was Avatar. Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate =(

Glad you enjoyed it though. I've heard that the effects are so good some people have actually gotten sick.

I LOVED it!!!
We saw it in 3D yesterday. I usually am not that into that kind of movie but this one was very well done.

I saw it in 3D on Saturday...that was my first 3D experience...WOW!!! I loved it! And felt very silly ducking during the fighting scene where the bad evil robot suit man swung at Jaketully with his big ole' gun and it went all 3D on us. Total panic "ohcrap" moment as I ducked and practically toppled out of my seat. I was glad everyone else in my group was paying rapt attention to the movie and did not notice my silliness ;D

Awesome movie, great effects...I wanna be one of them! Looks like a heckuva lot more fun than living on Earth!!!

I'm so glad to hear you all enjoyed it. I've been looking forward to this movie for ages. It looks like its great too.
