I'm currently not riding, and need to get rid of my three saddles. Two I have a good idea of what to price them at, but im not sure on one. Im not a roper and dont know about the saddles. This was part of a trade towards a lease on my old barrel horse. I know Tex Tan is a good saddle, but im not sure how they hold their value.

Here is what I know about the saddle
It is marked Herferd brand Tex Tan of Yoakum
15" roping saddle
Fully tooled
Dark oil, but looks darker in the pictures than it really is.
Is marked 1335I or it could be 13351 then below that 36-47670

Ill also attach a couple pictures

What kind of stirrup leather buckles does it have, Blevins or Al Ray? I recently bought a fully-tooled Hereford brand TexTan saddle with Al Ray buckles for $200.00 at a farm auction. The Al Ray buckles tell me it's an older saddle.

I'll update it with Blevins buckles and Nevada twists (Twist'n'Wraps) on the stirrup leathers before I offer it for sale at a higher price.

It has Blevins buckles. I emailed Tex Tax with its serial number about a week ago but no replys yet. Im going to take it to a tack swap tomorrow and see if theres any interest but I think ill end up bringing it home. I was told on another forum that its worth about $350 and I defiantly cant replace it for that when the time comes.

You're probably not out of line. Good saddles hold their value.
