Now I wonder if people are going to/do look at me and think...skeleton!! Or that I'm "emaciated." Which I'm not. There can be a backlash for any person with weight to one side of the scale or not.
Oh to be a mind reader!
And on another note...
I'm quitting my campus-bus driving job. Pretty stressful and very early hours. Yesterday I thought it was a treat that the sun was fully up as I biked to work! Praying for the neuropsychology data entry position as my new job! Same lab my brother works in and all (he is a computer programmer though). It is twenty cents less than what I make now, but there is absolutely no risk of hitting someone with a bus or having mechanical issues or being stuck in traffic or bad weather... so nice.
I'll stop now.

i truly hope i can get my money back and send the horrid thing away, and they dont just replace it with another crappy matress.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you cant help smiling when you push one down the stairs.
shhhhhh.......

I wonder why my roommate is so, um....dumb. No other way to put it, she is quite dumb. That thought leads to this thought: How can someone THAT dumb even function in the real world???
I may never know the answers to these questions

I totally know how you feel...I'm 6 feet tall and I'm 130...my ideal weight is 120ish. I feel like when i say that my ideal weight is even lighter than i already am people think I have an eating disorder or something...No...if you knew me or understood how i look and physically feel at 120 vs 130 you would understand.I'm reading a weight/ideal weight thread on another forum. A lot of the women are around 5'5" and 150ish. Said their ideal weight is 130-5lbs and that anything less and they look skeletal/sickly. Each body is different, of course, and all of that fun jazz. I'm 5'7" and about 110lbs (give or take a few pounds - I don't have a scale or weigh myself often).
Now I wonder if people are going to/do look at me and think...skeleton!! Or that I'm "emaciated." Which I'm not. There can be a backlash for any person with weight to one side of the scale or not.
There is definitely pressure and plenty of room for self consciousness about weight even if it's because you're afraid you're too thin. I've had trouble with it before, especially throughout high school when i would eat like a horse and not gain a pound - occasionally even have high stress levels cause me to LOSE 5 pounds in a week...stuff like being unable to find clothes cause even an XS is too small can be tougher than it sounds. But I surrounded myself with people who made me feel good about my shape and appearance and now I have more confidence than ever.
Only you can know what's right for your body. Don't doubt your body image if you know that you're healthy.
My random thought: I have been craving rain lately. It would be nice to have a nice downpour when I get home from work in the morning so I can listen to it on my window while I fall asleep.

I don't know how some folks passed a driving test. Really, when you pull up to a 4 way stop, you don't just randomly smile and let others go out of sequence, bc they may think you are just setting them up for an insurance lawsuit. At least that is what goes thru my mind, but maybe I don't think highly of others.
Oh, and why do we buy milk from Africa?

CM, you didn't know that our country imports milk from Africa?????? Apparently we are in a shortage.....................explain that to the guy down the street that sold his dairy farm bc he couldn't sell his products at a reasonable price. Somehow it is cheaper to import- as in ship across the ocean to the US than to buy from the American farmer down the street. I just don't see that many picturesque postcards from Africa touting the great dairyland of Africa. I know S.A. has some dairyfarms, but still I don't think Africa and think dairy farming.
I have not actually checked this out myself, but I heard it from some people in the dairy business. But it has been randomly running through my head since hearing about it.

RT: I shouldn't be sleepy at 10pm. Still have a card to write. And then tomorrow is hubby's 27th birthday and we are having a party that is combined with an open house to show off our house, and his grandmother's birthday that is two days after his. Not looking forward to this

Why do we call people who have passed away "late"? Yes, I'm aware. They are perpetually late for dinner...but uh, is there a real reason for this?

I have wondered this SO much! I really don't get it, and the term has always kind of bugged me...Truly random thought her.
