Wow. I'm a security guard and a mom. I'm thinking of opening a 'business' of cleaning and conditioning peoples tack during the hours of my other work...so much downtime.

You can't beat a dead horse, but you can drag it around the square!

You know you're a horse person when...
your boyfriend complains that you love your horse more than you love him and you say: "And your point is..?"
...no one wants to ride in your car because they'll get sweet feed and hay in their socks and on their clothes...but that's ok because you'll have to rearrange all the tack to make room for them anyway!

I can finally join this thread as I finally have a career!

I am a Law Enforcement Clerk at the Sheriff's Office! I process arrest warrants, manage the evidence, data entry, records, etc.

It's a stepping stone into the law enforcement field. Not too sure what I want to be 'when I grow up' per say, but I do know I want to be involved in law enforcement in general. Maybe be a Deputy eventually... it'd be great to get on with the K9 or Mounted Unit

I thought I had my career figured out and now I have no idea, once again. My heart is in agriculture though.

Just like every dark night, turns into day

Every heartache will fade away

just like every storm runs, runs outta rain

its gonna set you free

I suppose I can add more here now... :P
I am now transferring into the field of Microbiology.
So I still work in the chemistry lab, but a few days out of the week I am training to be a microbiologist. It is all good.

I've done a lot of different jobs. First job was cashier/shelf stocker. BAD job. Horrible manager. Made me sick, literally, so I had to quit. Went to Domino's as a customer service rep and worked my way up to being a shift manager...did that for a couple years and LOVED it. I'd go back to it now if I could. Now, I work very part time as a laundry lady for a hotel. I like it because it's low demand, I know exactly what I need to be doing and there's basically no way for me to get in trouble.

Well I'm new here but... I work at the neighbor's butcher shop as chief meat wrapper. I help debone a bit but mainly I package. We do custom beef, pork, and wild game as well as what they raise for selling. They raise free range, pork, chickens, turkeys and (new for this year) ducks and geese, besides of grass fed beef, and free range eggs. They take deliveries into two big cities once a month each. It's a lot of fun working there! And it's only 2 miles from home for me so I can walk to work. My sister also works there. Cool Springs Ranch

Thats about all I can say on it. B)
