i have a code. hubby bought me a large box of moisture tissues last night and ive already used half of them. my hed is in a vice.

i want to ride. not even really ride. i just want to see my pony. i havent seen him in over 2 weeks.

i hate being sick. this is my second cold in less than 2 months.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you cant help smiling when you push one down the stairs.

shhhhhh.......

I've been suffering for about a little over a week now.. stupid cough is driving me crazy! tried all the fancy remedies..switched even to a different one today to try and clear my stopped up ears... I've been through 5 boxes of Puffs with lotion just this week and have new boxes in every room..:thud: I'm sick of being sick! Thank god only 32 more days of exposure to the disease ridden spawn that board the buses...I'm sick of kids coughing on the back of my head or in my face when they enter the doorway! And whats with licking everything they come into contact with!

I hear you, AD. I've been lucky this year though. I didn't get sick, but my bus assistant has had a cold all winter, it seems. Disase-riddden spawn; I like that!!!!

You can't beat a dead horse, but you can drag it around the square!

You know you're a horse person when...
your boyfriend complains that you love your horse more than you love him and you say: "And your point is..?"
...no one wants to ride in your car because they'll get sweet feed and hay in their socks and on their clothes...but that's ok because you'll have to rearrange all the tack to make room for them anyway!

Well at least my sniffles and bronchitis is gone, all is left is me being very hoarse from all the coughing I was doing.. IT's going around.. Not sure if it is a flu bug or a cold that turns into bronchitis, but it last 2 weeks.

26 more days and then freedom from all those crazy parents and sick kids. I can't tell you the details, but my kind of job really makes you want to push for licensing of parents before they have children.:duh:

As soon as I start to feel I am getting sick, I take Emergen-C immune plus. You take it twice a day. For me, I truly believe it helps. There have been times when I wake up with a scratchy throat and can feel it in your chest, but when I take this I usually wake up the next day feeling fine. If I do catch a cold it only lasts 4-5 days.

Sending cold removal vibes to everyone who is sick ~~~~~~~~~ Feel better yet?
