Alaskandraft It's Your Fault

09 February 2014 - 09:17 PM

I know you had a run of bad happenings all at once this past week(no fun).  But dang girl you could have kept it to yourself & not pass a virus on HC.

Today the heat element went out on my drier.  So everything is hanging in the downstairs bath with a box fan to circulate air & dry cloths.

Then after my shortman's bath I had to use the plunger cause the tub wasn't draining.  In the midst of getting water to go I bumped the faucet & it broke.  The dang tub is a one piece unit that will have to come out so can fix the faucet.  Yes we have another tub downstairs but it had been converted to a jacket closet & storage not to mention also cloths line.  What am I to do with all that stuff????? :thud:

My recent problems don't amount to as big of a mountain as yours.  However......you didn't have to send the bad vibes to me. :mecry:

Lp Prices

23 January 2014 - 05:24 PM

Friend called hubby & told him that LP gas was going up to $4.25 gallon.  Hubby thought he was joking so he called our supplier.  No $4.25 was wrong it is going to be $5 gallon believe starting tomorrow.

Yup, because so much is being used to dry corn this winter is has created a supply issue.  MN, MI, WI & IL I believe are the states where the cost has gone over 46%.  This is crazy as it will just drive the cost of other heating sources through the roof not to mention the home fires that will be caused  from people trying to find other means for heat.

Just not going to get into whey it is going up as that would be a subject for the debate boards.  But for those of you who do heat with LP hope you already had your tanks filled.

H E L P Hc Help

30 October 2013 - 06:55 PM

First & for most there is no help with stopping me from killing the house/pet sitter.

But PLEASE HELP!!!!!! :mecry:

The first day she went to feed the wonder sitter managed to let Tucker out.  After two hours of not being able to catch him she had called.  Told her to halter the pony & sure enough Tucker followed right into the paddock.

Now here is where I want to scream & cry.  Tuckers has a beautiful tail to the point every 2 yrs I cut about 3in off so it won't touch the ground.  Today it looks like one giant fat paint roller full of burs.   Need ideas on how to possibly save his tail.

Does WD40 or cooking oil work?  I have a under coat brush that works great at getting burs out of the dogs but it might pull to much hair.  Otherwise only other thing is to work with my fingers.

I will spare you all the horrible details of the mess found in the house from sitter not kenneling up Odie.  Needless to say after simply no following direction she just may not have a job with us at the business anymore.  If I can trust someone to simply critter sit how can I trust them with their job.
