  1. Soo I know this isnt the eventing board. But I'm posting the xc pics for the fun of it The last few days were pretty busy and I didnt get a chance to post them.. but we took Bear for his first outings. Sunday we went xc schooling & Tuesday we had a little schooling show. He did awesome at both.. we did great on our dressage test at the show and placed first for both 2 ft classes. But anyway here are some pics!! erg. sorry about the size :[ & yes. I know I dont look great. But you can critique if want to.
  2. Argh... critique/ advice needed

For the thinking part, try and keep thinking of something before every jump, like if your leg is in the correct place and if you are looking up. Count your strides before your jump to help you prepare for it. This will help you not have long spots if you can plan out his strides. Did that make any since? lol But its ok, it was your first show of the season. You'll do better next time!

  8. What Do You Think?

Here, he could probally go for 7,000 +. He has nice knees in that pic, and sounds like a pretty good jumper. Good Luck

Like Starbucks said, his bones and ligaments are finished growing. He is pretty though
  14. Critque

I haven't been on for a long time, so I haven't critiqued and feel like giving it a try. Try doing a lot of 2-point and half seat work. This will help you get a better, more secure leg. Try thinking about lifting up your toes and sinking all your weight into your heels. Remeber shoulders back! In one or two of those pictures it looks like you're sloching. Your leg needs to come back some. It looks like it is sliding forward while going over the jump. Your release also needs some work, but you can fix that. And SMILE!!!! Hope I helped some, I didn't read the critiques on the H/J board so I may just be repeating what they said.
