  1. Are mosquito dunks OK to put in my horse's water tank?

it should not be an issue if if you are cleaning your tank ever few days. We find that keeps the bugs out of it. I also would not put it in " just in case" Have you thought about the fish at eat them?

  5. If he had not been Cliped he would be fine now. But He is use to that nice warm coat. As horses get older then need more heat then the younger horses. This is one reason they hold their coat longer (Just like a little old lady ) I would leave it on At night till ti is about 60 as well. I would not worrie is it is warm all day, you could take it off with no problems. That will also give him a good time to roll and scratch

I think bandages would be fine for shorter trips, but on a long haul, the legs can get overheated. JMHO To keep them from getting hot you can use a cool wrap. We use Leg Mud and then wet paper towles and then Plastic wrap. We wrap the legs after tha with the quilts and the Polos. That keeps um nice and cool.

Nut you HAVE to know how to pull them on or you can really really hurt your horse. Boots are nice but offten fall off or get smooshed down. I have run Bare Legged as well and never had an issue. I guess it is all what you feel is best.

  11. SCARS????????

if it is on black skin and has red or black hair you can clip with a shorter blade to blend it in. If it is black skin with white hair then try corn starch. I am guessing you mean for shows ect... How old are they? you might just try lots and lots of Aloe if they are new.

I am so glad I live in Oregon. I just dont think i could live through what you all have. The wosrt we have here is a flood every 10yr. And nothing that bad. Water gets High but just to the point it is fun to look at. I am sorry that you have all had to deal with that.
