Brendal does anyone know much about him what i have read so far about him and his technique's i like. but i still would like to see if others have used him.

  4. i am looking for any english tack suppliers locally. i live around tulsa oklahoma and the majority of the events around here are western. the few items i find everynow and then are mens or small children. seeing that i am neither. it does not help. i am a plus size lady on top of that.
  5. Confo. critique appy gelding.

i saw that to. his eyes are even brighter in person. he's a pain in the butt to work with though because he doesn't pay full attention to you and red follows you everywhere if she's not seperated from him. but i'm getting closer to working on that part of the training.
  6. A Horse's Color....Popular?

around my area we have all sorts of colors. but it seems that the most common is the chesnuts and bays but everynow and then i get to see a realy beautiful buckskin or palmino or roan
  7. Tail of woe, pics added page 2

i would try to detangle it first also. i know red's mane got lik that when a braid didn't hold up and each section is in it's own little dreadlock then they combind into a huge dreadlock. i was able to get them seperated into smaller ones.
  8. how does he look? PICS (HR)

he looks great. i woldn't be to oried about him either just try and keep him at that shape. we used to have a retired polo pony at my aunt's ranch. mover he was 30 this year and he passed on in april-march.
  9. What is YOUR tack addiction.

i'm bfrgirl and i'm a tack addict. mine is grooming suplies. i like to buy the newest thing out there to get the mud and grime off the horses either easier of faster. i have the hardest time keeping them fairly clean. red loves to roll in the mud. oh and halters and lunging supplies.
  10. Confo. critique appy gelding.

  14. URGENT --My mare's breed?---PICS

i say tb. i know my aunt's mare is a pure tb and she has the same fine bone strtcure and she looks arabian also. she doesn't look apendix qh she'd have a bit more quater horse look to her. and i don't see any quater horse is her what so ever.
  15. mare weak on right side

i think she is husting b/c today when i was working with her i lunged her first going left then to the right. she stopped and started to turn around but i turned her back to the right had asked her to walk on and she just stood there so i got firmer then she just freaked out on bolted. i kept with her and talked to her to calm her down. she settled down but i stopped working her i just lead her around to have my grandpa look at her to see if she was limping but we didn't see anything. i know when i picked her right front hoof she was alright with it but when i went to pick her rear hoof she didn't really like it. so i'm going to have farrier look at it when he comes out next week and the vet should be coming out for the round of shots. so i'm going to have him look at her also. before i go any further in the training i'm going to make sure she's not hurting.
