  1. 3-Way Or 5-Way Wormer ?

Well I was looking into ordering a a years worming rotation and found 3 way kits and 5 way kits. It seems there is more variety in the 5 way. I'm going to talk to my vet and get his recommendation. Thanks
  2. 3-Way Or 5-Way Wormer ?

    Which is best?
  3. Buying A Round Pen

Former boarswe di have a round pen so there is already a place for it. And yes, I've been thinking about how I would feel if it got damaged. I'm just want a controlled area to work all 4 of my horses.
  4. Buying A Round Pen

I've got an 18 month old colt that I really need to work with and think that a round pen will give me the boundries he needs.
  5. Buying A Round Pen

How much should I plan on spending?
  6. Buying A Round Pen

I share a pasture with another girl and am sure that the lady I board from wouldn't have any objections. I was thinking the other girl might want to go halves on the pen with me, if not, that's not a problem.
  7. Buying A Round Pen

Hey everyone, I'm talking to my husband about buying a round pen to put in the pasture where I board my horses. I've never bought one before and am looking for good solid advice. Thanks :-)
  8. Weaning On 5 Acres

Sounds like a great system. Our baby was an accident, caused by an abandoned stallion, in the pasture behind us :-( He was unplanned but not unwanted :-) I don't have the option to move Bellah off property, wish I did.
  9. Need Help Weaning .....

Hi everyone :-) My colt will be 5 months on the 29th & needs to be weaned. I board my horses, so I'm concerned because I won't have my eyes on him as much as I would like during the process. OK, so mom & baby are on 5 acres. It's divided up, but they will still be able to hear & see each other. Echo (the colt) has no problem wandering from Bellah's side. He likes hanging out with the geldings, so I'm hoping this will be an easy transition. I'm needing any & all advise on how to handle this, what to do. Should I stall one or the other in the barn so they can't see each other? They will still be able to hear each other. I'm just worried about Echo getting hurt. How long is the normal weaning process? I'm worried about Bellah, he is depleting her. Judy
  10. Weaning On 5 Acres

Yes, I've got 2 geldings in a separate 4 acre pasture. My fear is of him trying to jump the fence. I had him out with the geldings yesterday, and after he couldn't see me he panicked and ran the fence line. Bellah, mom, just kept on eating her hay.
