  1. Yep PD. Seems like it's headed that direction. Facebook seems to be "the thing" now days.
  2. I don't get to HC too often. It's sad to see a forum that was so lively to now be so slow. Since someone asked.... Mudder is doing well. I am Facebook friends with her. I think Facebook has replaced the activity that used to be in the chat forums. I came back here yesterday and was shocked to see that the forum is so empty. Not just the forum , but the whole HC site. This was a fun place to come everyday. I have lots of memories... The Christmas gift exchanges, Christmas card exchanges, the cook book project, the Ozland fence fixing trip (although I did not go) , all the stories and the pictures that were shared, especially enjoyed all the trail pictures that were shared in the trail riding forum, Grouchy Grizzly's Montanna cattle ranch pictures were always awesome! This was a booming place!
  3. Yes he is doing good. Recouping from being a little under the weather from a virus/flu bug or something but he's doing good. :)
  4. Not sure how to delete this post. I found him. :)
  5. Hello Kim! How have you been? I just haven;t been to HC much. This past summer I had 2 daughters that got married so my summer was very busy! You would loved Michelle's wedding it was down the road at an old barn.. a western/barn wedding. It was so neat! So what have you been up to?
  6. Hello Ann!
  7. No I don't have. I don't raise my little dachshunds anymore. I spayed/neutered and retired 3 into pet homes and my daughter kept a spayed female. The other 4 went to a different show/breeding home. She's still breeding and showing them and their offspring. I still have some old pictures. The dog my daughter kept was living in my home becaue my daughter still lived here. When she moved she took her with her.. so I only have a Yorkie in the house. I miss my little dachshunds but I just wasn't where I could dedicate the time to them that they needed after I opened the store in town.
  8. Hey CR.. Nice looking horse! It's been awhile! I hadn't heard about the 'swan dive' but it's never fun riding a horse that we don't feel comfortable on. I wish you many good trails on the new gelding!
  9. Hey! This is the first time I've been to HC in a good while.
  10. I enjoyed these pictures very much! What a beautiful place to get to ride!
  11. Hello.. I apologize, I don't remember you. Did you go by a different user name back then? I haven't been to HC in close to a year myself. I think I may have logged in once last year. Glad to hear things are going well for you. ...and I apologize to you that everyone seems to have ignored you. Horse people are usually known to be friendly people....at least where I come from. Hard to believe that many people opened your post and not one even said 'welcome back'. I I'm glad you came back! I'd be interested in seeing some trail riding pics taken down in Georgia, I've never ridden there. I hope to find time to log in here to HC every now and then.
  12. Hello Grouchy.. I hadn't been to HC in quite awhile. I was so sad for you when I read this post. I'm so sorry for the loss of Cloudee and your Golden. I've been through it myself a few times so I know how it feels. It's amazing how attached we can get to our animals. I'm sorry to hear about you and all your surgeries too. I'll say a prayer for you that you'll be healed up and back to par quickly. I am going to try and find time to log in here every now and then so I can keep up with what's going on with old friends. I just hadn't been here much.. was busy this summer. I had 2 daughters to tie the kno this summer! I haven't been in the saddle much lately either.. I plan for that to change too! I'll be back to check up on ya old friend! I miss the stories and the pictures too! ~trailhoss2
  13. Enjoyed the stories and pics from your office. You have some mighty fine views from that office window!!! My husband spent some time in Montanna and N.D. the past few months. He's been working around in Wyoming a little now. Next time he's out your way, I may hook up the trailer, load some horses and come visit ya! I know I've been sayin that for awhile, but maybe I can make it out there someday for real!
  14. You could try and contact April Newman.... chiefnchance@yahoo.com She trains gaited horses for trailriding. She has some for sale occasionally.
  15. Exactly! The neighbor's dogs are spayed/neutered anyway, so he's not going over for that. Lil Bit was just 12-14 weeks old when he came here. He started exploring the woods, the pond, the fields, then would go farther and farther each time. He needs a home with a fenced yard or an inside home. He stays home as long as we're outside or if we're in and out regularly. It's when we leave him alone for a period of time that he decides to go exploring.
