Why are you kicking yourself about it and feeling like you should find something else? I feel like I'm missing something.
  5. The Bionic Oscar Mayer Weiner Thread

I have always felt this banana embodies celebration, so here is one for you, Krystal
  6. The Bionic Oscar Mayer Weiner Thread

Prayers for you, Krystal! Take care

Hey Stevie - or anyone else - this video is fun to do. Although it isn't geared towards lifting heavy (which is a better way to build muscle), it gets the heart rate up and works the whole body. Only 10 minutes, too. I haven't worked out for a while, so I did this yesterday. I hurt today. ow.
  8. Epona Need Major Jingles!

:angel3: My heart goes out to you and yours. Good thoughts & prayers your way.
  9. Are We Becoming Too Sensitive?

A Kesha song removed from the radio? I don't see the problem.
  10. Beefing Up The Smoking Ban

Government and insurance agencies companies need to stop trying to enforce health by twisting your arm into not doing something they find unhealthy. Is freedom being defined with an asterisk now? *Freedoms exclude the right to consume more than 24oz of Coca Cola a day. Violations of this recommended amount will be subjected to fines and reports to insurance companies that maintain the right to increase premiums.
  11. Legalized Marijuana

Even though it is still a federal offense? That's one thing I don't get. How is the state law going to stand very long when it isn't in accord with federal legislation?

    ^ seriously? Who does that?!
  13. Walmart Workers Killed A Man On Sunday

Good to know. With my infrequent posting, I thought I was getting by undetected!
  14. Walmart Workers Killed A Man On Sunday

Since I don't think any individual is hopeless, a man losing his life over 2 DVD players is inappropriate. I wouldn't want a man's blood on my hands for the sake of two material items. I would have let him go, give a description to police, and let them search. He shouldn't have stole, and the employee's shouldn't have accidentally killed him.

It's tough to say if a degree will be helpful when it's not in the context of a specific field. I'd go absolutely nowhere without a degree. Experience helps, but to even get experience, you must have a degree and lalala all of that jazz. Corrie, you know you better than we do. From anecdotes in my own life, most who take time off of school don't go back - especially if they find a job that pays decently. It seems a lot do that, and then grow sick of their job and wish they'd stayed in school. Hindsight teaches a lot, of course, with its unfair advantage. Do you think this could be a risk/something that may prevent you from going back? Just tossing out ideas.
