  1. Saddle Fit: Channel Too Wide?

Hello, all! This is my first post here. I also posted this in the English section before I realized this section was here, so I decided to post it here too for more potential hits! I have a 3 1/2 year old TB, Sunny. She has been backed, but will spend October being professionally trained. I'm too excited! Any way, I'm having some issues with her saddle. It's a 2010 Wintec 500 Jump, and I love it! It is the most comfy saddle I have ever sat in. However, i'm thinking the channel may be too wide for her? The actual gullet seems to fit fine, I have around 3-4 fingers width going at every angle. The channel, however, worries me. They don't make full contact while it's just girthed up on her back, although it does when i'm sitting on her. The pannels sort of "hang over" her back, if that makes sense. Like the pannels are too wide. I'm worried that this may be causing pressure points? If it is a problem, could it be helped by adjusting the pannels? (It's flocked, not CAIR.) Could a fitter do anything to help? I REALLY don't want to buy a new saddle, but I suppose I could if I absolutely had to. Here are some pictures, not the best. I realize that in some photos the saddle is too far back(not from slipping, but from me yanking all over to saddle to sack her out) but maybe it can still give you an idea of what I mean. Thanks for any and all help!!
