  3. He was just as lucky to have you in his life as you were to have him in yours. Friendships like that are definitely a blessing. May he rest in piece and may you find the next friend that can share the extra love you have. Bless you both.

  8. Questions On Teaching Horses To Pony?

My gelding Indy is very broke and very soft. I'm pretty sure a bump with a spur would get his attention. I have bumped the bit before on Indy once and it was because Indy attempted to show teeth at a pasture horse I was. riding
  9. Questions On Teaching Horses To Pony?

I new I came to the right place for help. Thank you a bunch. The thing that I'm certain will happen is my mount will pin his ears and threaten to kick. I have seen him do this from the ground whenever I'm around but they are pasture buds. I think it's more like a jealous thing when I'm around.
  10. Questions On Teaching Horses To Pony?

Thanks guys for help. What type of correction would you give your mount if he does act aggressive towards the horse being ponied? I'm almost certain this is going to happen.
  11. I'm looking for advise on how to go about teaching horses how to safely pony? My 2 geldings are pasture buddies and the one I would ride is more dominant than my other one which I eventually would like to pony from eather or. Since I would use the better trained as my mount first which is the dominant I feel like I will have a hard time getting my less dominant horse to track up close in fear of getting kicked. If my gelding shows signs or aggression Thank you
  12. I haven't seen a silver buckskin color. I'm going to have to look that up.
  13. Perfection
