  1. It looks as though this upgrade will take place tomorrow, Nov. 22. My apologies.
  2. Photo uploads is one of our hopes with the upgrade. We will just need to test it out.
  3. Please expect some downtime for the forums on Monday, November 21. We are going to be performing some maintenance and upgrades on the forum that we hope will only take a few hours, but please bear with us if it takes longer. There will be a few changes that you may notice: 1) The look of the forums will change. 2) Currently we have both user names and display names; display names will be going away with the upgrade. 3) The "Friends" system will be replaced with "Followers". The main difference is that when a friendship is requested, it goes both ways. If you friend someone, they have you listed as a friend as well and get notifications about your activities and you about theirs. With the followers system, you have the ability to follow someone else on the forums and they don't automatically follow you back. In order to NOT spam everyone's inbox with new follower notifications, we're going to be resetting this system. When you login for the first time, you will not be "following" anyone. 4) We'll be mobile friendly! You'll have a much better time viewing the forums on your phones and tablets when you're aware from your computer. 5) The search feature has been revamped, so if you're trying to find an old thread- this process should be easier. 6) Photo uploads should be fixed. We'll be testing this out, but if you run into any issues- please let us know. In addition to these things, there will be some small quality of life fixes and some great new security features. We're hoping that this creates a better environment for everyone! The first time that you login after the upgrade is complete, you should be able to login with your username and same password. Some users may be prompted to change their password, and some people may have to perform a full-on password reset to get back in. If you can't access your normal account after the update, please create a new account and let us know so we can try to get you back in! Thanks everyone!

  8. I have another post about the malicious site warning. It seems to only appear for the forums. Google has ignored our reports and requests for the warning to be removed. We are considering our options. I hope everyone can view the new website. We hope to add some plugins that will allow you to post your photos and other cool stuff. I really appreciate everyone's patience. Thank you! Sonny
  9. Google is ignoring our reports. I do not see the warning going away in the near future. We apologize for this and are considering other options.
  10. We are still working on some of the features, such as smileys, quotes, etc.
  11. A big thank you to everyone who has sent in a report to Google about the malicious site message. I'm not quite sure how many it will take or how long it will take for Google to respond. Right now, waiting seems to be our only option. We are continuing to attempt to get Google to remove this. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Sonny
  12. Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that we have been working hard to create a better Horsecity.com website. We are launching a new version of Horsecity.com tomorrow, May 3. There may be a few glitches, but we think you will really like the new WordPress version. It is cleaner, easier to navigate and looks great on mobile devices. So give it a look when you get a chance. Thanks! Sonny
  13. We are aware of a malicious/deceptive message that appears when you try to go to the forums. We have attempted to contact Google to get this fixed. We are unable to remove the message ourselves. However, the site is safe.
  14. thanks for the responses. we were able to get Ozland back on and think we may have solved the issues in the back end. Let me know if you're still having issues. If so try to reset your browser cache for now, and reconnect. if that doesn't work, try an incognito window or private browsing session. If that doesn't work, let me know.
  15. I have received several reports that people cannot log-in and/or they cannot load pictures. If you are one of these people or know people who are having problems, please leave a comment. We are attempting to find out what problems may be lurking in the forums so that everyone can enjoy them. Thanks, Sonny Williams Cowboy Publishing Group
