i understand with what your saying, and i on most cases prob wouldnt want to buy from or sign up friends with dealing with anything, just so it doesnt change the relationship. I guess really it would depend on the friend. and yes, we do earn something for signing someone up... but to be fair.... dont you think that the way TIDE or AVEENO or DOVE or SCOTT whatever makes money is only due to the fact that someone, somewhere, is buying the product? So if we wanted to be technical.... you are having someone benefit off of your purchases..... right? and with everyone talking about pyramid and whatever... isnt every business like that? you have bosses who make more - maybe an owner and then a manager and then a cashier? every bodies earnings differ - i just like to believe that everyone is ok with doing exactly that, what they are ok with. you cant argue with them, and you cant change their opinion. I just came on the page and wanted to voice my opinion, bc i saw a lot of people who havent done it or been involved with it, giving opinions about a business they know nothing about. or people who have no problem signing up for a SAMS or COSTCO or BJS membership without a second thought, but if asked to pay a small yearly fee for an online business... they scream scam scam scam or its crap. or when you state that you dont want to "give your friends money" and you have to buy from this one and that one... i mean, its silly... if you want the product because you value them and enjoy them, great sign up... if not, dont. and maybe you like one friends (whatever they have to offer) but im pretty sure that doesnt make you required to get involved with every bodies venture. and how many of your friends are involved with some type of thing? and i for one dont like to try and convince my friends to buy... I have my products and I use them. If someone ask about it, I tell them. If they want to know how to get them, I tell them. if not.. nothing is mentioned. Im sorry if I am getting defensive but even if i just am a customer of melaleuca regardless about the business side, im tired of everyones comments is on if they want to do a business or not or guessing if it a scam or complaining about something..but im not hearing anything about the products? I for one just really enjoy the products. They work great and have truly helped. I never knew of them before and I enjoy using them for my horses as well. I just thought, hey.. maybe other people would be interested in that aspect and want to know about it. Im glad i was informed. ive been to plenty of home parties where i just had fun with friends and didnt buy and every so often ive been to one where i wanted something and bought. but melaleuca isnt a home party where you bu products. you can get a group of people and maybe do demonstrations and inform.. but the people sign up and shop on there own when they want. like I said and you agreed, . its not for everyone.

well dont forget that u buy the things that your buying every month any way. All things from vitamins to shampoo to detergent to whatever. I have been having a problem with deciding what im going to get and what im going to make myself wait till next month to get. And if you go and that link i put on here, you can see a lot of ways to use the products for your horses =) And dawn, i do agree that buying from friends, etc.. is a hastle, but... this isnt something you "buy from your friends every month" for anyone who gets enrolled, you buy your own products online and have them delivered to your house. Its really no different them having a SAMs or BJs membership to be able to shop; but its different then what we are all used to which is going to the store and getting the things we want, not everyoneis going to be a fan of changing from what they are used to. =)

yes its the green book, u can find a lot of the recipes for horses in there. Ive been talking to people online about wanting it for their horses. I just need to figure out how i want to approach it going to peoples barns and shows. Im so excited tho... i can barely stand it! =)

$200 minimum? whoa. ours is about $45-$75 until you advance and when you advance it will prob be about $75-$125 minimum. But that is for things we want - we dont resell. So we have no inventory. We just enroll people and then keep in contact to help with anything. When someone enrolls, they then have a user name and password and go on the site and order themselves and then it is directly shipped to their home. All sorts of items - over 350 to chose from. It is basically anything you normally buy at the store - minus any perishables. but - its not just for "building a business" many people are just customers. I swear to all my friends, once they try it - they're hooked! =) I myself just find a better connection for me - to talk to horse people about it - its an added bonus as it adds in something else Iove. haha... I always said I wanted to work with horses when i grew up, maybe now at 31, this will be how I do it, ha! =)
  6. Met an awesome lady yesterday that is going to help me find a new horse =)

haha =) yea, im hooked on the products myself. the whole marketing thing just isn't my thing really. But I do love the whole aspect of gearing it towards Horses and barns and I got so excited , I just want to tell everyone about it lol. Because if they're like me, they have never heard Melaleuca before, just like I didn't until a friend told me. I have local jobs, so with what Im doing part time with this, it is def paying for my two horses =) did you find the part in the rmbarry book that gives all the recipes for horses? ~~A healthy horse is a happy horse~~

Thanks a bunch! It is pretty neat. At times it hard to tell people about it without them looking at you like you have five heads! haha. but its just looking outside the box and away from the "norm" which is just going into the feed and supply store and buying whats on the shelf. plus I use tons of stuff for inside the home too. checkout my fb page =) https://www.facebook.com/myhealthyhappyhorse?ref=hl
  9. Hi Everyone! =)

I was hoping to meet some people who are using products on and around their horses that do not contain harsh chemicals. I started learning about harsh chemicals a few months ago.. well it started with my self, family, and household... but then I started finding ways to apply them to my horses and my pig. I am loving them and really wanted to start sharing it with others as well as finding out what other people are doing. thanks.. i also started a facebook like page titled A healthy horse is a happy horse Its intended for people to start posting a questions or concerns where they can then get others opinions. ~~A healthy horse is a happy horse~~ https://www.facebook.com/myhealthyhappyhorse

Hi joined Melaleuca a few months ago. This isn't just for "making money" you can be just a customer. It is not a pyramid scheme. It is no different then having a SAMs or BJs membership where you pay yearly to be able to shop at the store. There yearly fee is cheap... $29.99 the first year and $12.99 the following. With being a preferred customer you get discounts, coupons, deals, loyalty dollars, and are able to earn money for referring others. Plus the products are great! I am now obsessed with not only using them for my family, but outside for my horses. I can't say anything bad about it ! And as far as making money... you dont work your butt off to make money for the higher ups... you get $25 for each enrollment, and then you get a percentage of their order every month after. And then the more people you get, you get bonuses, advancements, etc. I have a recipe that I use for thrush treatment and fly spray. and then taking out one ingredient it is used for wounds as well as can be an all purpose cleaner. I even use this stuff on my pig. And the cleaners... are just amazing. I did a test where I was able to get permanent marker out of a white towel. so now i am also using the products for tack cleaning. And im using the herbal shampoo for the horses. I could go on, but My biggest point is it is not a scam, or a bogus company. And their products really have impressed me. No one is going to get rich without working hard, and for those that have worked hard, it has really paid off. Others who dont want to go crazy trying to get people, but maybe get a few here and there, can earn money to pay for their horses monthly cost. And then those who just enjoy the products can do just that... enjoy the products. Oh and whoever said the deodorant sucks.... im obsessed with the antiperspirant and think its great! they have a deodorant and a deodorant/antiperspirant. they are different so i dont know which you got.. But a deodorant does just as it says,,,, it deodorizes, but it doesnt prevent sweating. Thats where the antiperspirant comes into play...
