  1. Hello World *pokes Head In And Waves*

Would like to stay a bit as time allows. School and work are a little all-consuming at the moment but I'll probably pop in on occasion.
  2. Hi all! It's been an age, but I thought I'd pop on and see if there are any familiar "faces" still about. You may remember me as Appy or A05. Not much time for horses at the moment, but I have a sweet job at a library and am just a few credits away from my MLIS. I am doing well, live just outside Cleveland. Just wondering how everyone's doing. Have a blessed day! Megan
  3. Awww It's Still Dead =(

I remember you! I'm afraid this board will be deleted before I get to copy my favorite RPGS.
  4. My Cat Died Yesterday

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Kitty. (((HUGS)))
  5. R I P Sorcia

Oh no ratts! I'm so sorry to hear this. Sorcia was such a beautiful girl, and I feel like I've "known" her for years. *HUGS* to you and Notyo.
  6. I'm so sorry pintobeans, sending lots of hugs to you and the owner. He was a gorgeous horse.
  7. I Am An American Soldier

    Did I kill this? :/

His parents encouraged him to go away to college before joining the army, and that's where he met Cassidy. significant other or soldier: soldier -if soldier Rank: first lieutenant (I don't know much about rankings so if that doesn't sound plausible please let me know) Training, deployed, inactive: 3 months into a 12 month deployment to Afghanistan I'll probably post more later.
  9. I Am An American Soldier

I want to join, but it's a little late for me to make stats tonight, so hopefully I'll remember tomorrow.
  10. Riding Wear

Jeans most of the time. I usually ride English, so breeches would probably be good, but I hate the way they look on me. In addition, riding in breeches requires buying an extra pair of pants, I already have jeans.
  11. Anyone In Mi Need A White House Cat?

I'd love to take it in, but I wouldn't be able to keep it long term. :/ Best of wishes in finding a home for it!
  12. (((HUGS))) and prayers, I too was thinking meningitis.
  13. What Was This Year's Odd Gift?

I got a Snuggie from my brother, who I'm sure had great intentions and it was sweet of him to buy me anything at all. I tried it, but I don't like wearing it the right way (backwards) all that much and it's a chore to get it to wrap around me if I flip it around. I prefer a good fleece blanket. The booklight it came with, however, is pretty nifty and should serve me well for my bus trip back to Detroit.
  14. Something Truly Horrible Happened

    (((HUGS))) and prayers!
  15. What Did You Get For Christmas?

I got: -a nice sweater, Princess Bride on DVD, and Skittles from my friend Jatonna in our work secret santa -goldfish crackers from our youth group gift exchange -a nice water bottle from Dad -chips, chocolate, and a few other little things from Mom -York Peppermint patties and $10 from my brother David -$20 from my brother Danny -a light green Snuggie and booklight from my brother Jonny I'll probably use the booklight more than the Snuggie. XD -$40 from Grandma -a stocking full of candy and a $75 Visa gift card from my aunt and uncle which I used to buy this camera (pretty!) My best friend and I are exchanging gifts tonight, and my roommates and I are exchanging gifts when I get back to Detroit. I had a really good Christmas this year, in all aspects.
