  1. Okay ya'll I have bought a horse before and not told she was bred and she never got the belly as if she was pregnant and all of a sudden we had a baby on the ground. Well, I just bought another mare and brought her home yesterday. Her belly looks pregnant, she is bagged up and flowing milk. The previous owner said she was not bred. But she looks it, has milk and I swear I felt something move when feeling her stomach. Is it possible for a 10 year old mare to bag up and have a FLOW of milk when squeezing her teat if she isn't pregnant? I am going to try and post a picture if it comes up it is not straight on but the view of the belly of the one side is what it looks like on both sides. Thank you for your help! BTW she isn't in heat I have my stud that is on the property and when I walked him by her to put him in his stall she didn't give a crap about him. Also the prior owners said there was a filly on their property next stall over, could she have bagged up because of the baby there?
