  2. Riding Boots For Kids

I'm so excited, my daughter is about to turn 6 and we found her a pony with a sort of lease arrangement. It's a super cute older POA and it seems like a perfect fit for everyone I'll of course try to take pictures the next time we're out there. Anyhow, to ride she needs a helmet and boots (of course). We found a really cute helmet that we'll probably buy, adjustable so that she and her sister could both use it and everything which is nice. Boots are more difficult. The only tack shop in town only has some used boots but none in her size. I'd like to get her some decent paddock boots or maybe cute 'cowgirl' boots but don't want to spend a fortune on boots that she will surely be outgrowing pretty quickly. She's in a kids size 13 or maybe 1. Any ideas on where to shop or look, brands to look for or stay away from, etc? And am I forgetting anything she might need, other than the fun stuff like her own brushes or something? The lady who owns the pony has a pretty decent set up, all the tack and brushes and an indoor arena, etc.
