Saddleseat question ?

Recommended Posts

For just riding at home, nope! especially with morgans, they have a lot of natural "upheadedness" that will make your hand position more saddleseat. there have been discussions on this board about quarter horses going saddleseat. my horse has a little bit more action that yours (who is very pretty by the way!) and i show her huntseat and western. i dont show bigtime but we do well. at schooling/open shows you could definately get away with saddleseat on your horse.

With a bit of training I bet your horse could go classic pleasure which is saddleseat.

Why would you want to ride saddleseat if not for showing? Just to use a cutback saddle?

Very pretty horse by the way.

I think if you wanted to just play around and change things up and bit you could ride saddleseat at home and not do any harm [smile]
