Xan understood now, or at least understood most of it. He wasn't sure how the boy could completely save him, but he didn't want to keep questioning her. He turned and away and started back down the hall, having nothing else to say. He wasn't sure what else she wanted so he was going to give her the chance to say anything else while they kept walking.

Xan stopped and turned again, looking back at her after she spoke. "Go find the boy if you want to keep yourself busy otherwise I can find him myself," he said rudely, his tone slightly louder. He didn't exactly mean to sound so rude, but he wasn't in the best of mood at the moment, so it all just slipped out.

Xan watched as she left and then turned away, starting back down the hall again. He went back to the stage where he stood and looked out at the dusty red seats, trying to sort his thoughts so he wouldn't have to spend the whole night wraking his brain. He was still tired from not sleeping all day, but he knew sleeping wasn't something he should be considering at the moment. Instead he peeled his eyes away and headed to the backstage again.

Xan found nothing of interest behind the stage, so he started back to the box seat. Upon reaching it, he sat in the clean seat and stared down at the red curtains below, finding that his thoughts were focused on what was to happen in the future rather than what had happened in the past. It was something Xan didn't think about often, usually just dwelling over his past instead of his future. He didn't exactly like thinking about what might happen, but after Selene had come and talked about the boy, he could only think about what would happen when she brought him back.

Selene walked down the cracked sidewalks , her boots clicking on every steps. Her back leather long coat flowed behind her. The gave a blank star at every person she past. She was looking for a pray on her way home , she seem a man standing out side a bar she walk up to him and smiled "Hows it going hansom". She put her hand on his shoulder and started to kiss him. She made her way to the neck and bared her fangs and bite him. He flinched and yelled slightly then it was all over , Selene dropped his body on the cool ground. She walked away from him wiping the blood off her lips. She was refreshed and happy , she turned and headed back to the house.

Steven put his hands in his blue faded jeans , his Burgundy jacket draped over his hands. He turn turn and faced Vanessa he started to walk backwards "Sooo...Life as a vampire slayer. How is it?" He asked try to learn more about Venessa's life. He turned back around afraid that he was going to fall waling backwards. He looked at Vanessa and smiled"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to" He didn't want to be to personal with her

Feeling as if he couldn't sit still, Xan stood up from the seat and jogged down the back stairs. He was uneasy at the moment and needed to keep moving, so he stepped back out onto the large stage and paced back and forth, hands placed behind his back. He stared down at the wood flooring beneath him, thoughts still rushing through his head. He knew he should go outside and do something besides pace the floor in here, but he couldn't leave, not now. His thoughts were bothering him and he needed to do something besides sit and let them bother him more, so pacing was all he could come up with. So Xan told himself he'd wait and pace, sorting out his thoughts, if he could.

((Thanks! ^_^ err..For both the welcome and letting me join the rp...))

The pen is bluuuuuueee....

VAMPIRE:

name: Minalee Luce, last name unknown. Goes by Lucy, Mina, Minalee, Luce... Though you're welcome to make up your own nickname for her.

age: 137

type: normal

appearance: Her hair is a certain shade of red thats just got to have been a professional dye job, or a lucky mistake. It no simple, flat, boring red.. its bright, yes, but in a soft sort of way, with yellow gold glowing underneath and dark roots. The color makes the icy blue of her eyes leap out, a striking contrast. It also happens to be one of those irritating types of hair thats impossible to tangle. Even knots her long-ago friends laughingly tried to tie in it just undid themselves at a shake of her head. In length, its quite short...barely long enough to make a ponytail, and even then, only the back...and a bit shaggy. Tends to flop all over her eyes, a bit like a veil. She'd have to use some sort of hair thing to keep it out of her face, though she never bothers to. Height-wise, she's pretty short, but she holds herself in a way that makes being petite not seem to matter in the slightest. Couldn't have been younger than 15 when she turned, nor older than 23. Tentatively, you could say she looks about 17. Ask her about her age. She'll laugh.

living condition: She alternates. Sometimes solo, sometimes group. It would be hard for her to stick with just one living condition.

background: Though she's originally from England, she doesn't have a particularly prominent accent most of the time. She caught the attention of a decently aged undead (decently aged...makes him sound like wine...mm, vintage vampires...) who turned her on a whim, taught her the ropes, and disapeared after a bit. She's never felt any particular urge to search him out. However, there's a few false rumors about how she was turned that are going around, mainly due to her tendency to get bored and make up some sort of elaborate, dramatic story whenever she's asked about her past.

personality: A bit happy-go-lucky. She's childlike, in that she's easily bored. However, her solution to boredom is usually bloodying somebody up. She's got no problem with stirring up trouble, or with taking orders, if it suits her. Loves interesting and unusual personalities, events, objects, etc. Hates for things to stay the same for too long, and has had many many boy (and girl) toys. While she IS a "normal" vampire, has no soul, no remorse and no concience, she'll occasionally do something "good" just for variety, though never for any sort of moral reasoning. This chickie is loyal only to herself.

picture:

This is the color of her eyes.

-

good/evil: See personality. ^^;;

Oh, the drama! The tragedy! It was better than than tv!

And about as boring as withered banana peels...

Minalee Luce sighed, idly dangling her bare legs from her perch on the chain-link fence as she watched the oh-so-modern teenagers emerge from the club. Hormone-ridden and plastered with clingy black leather, none of them managed to even pause the slide of her ice blue eyes. Where was the originality? The pioneer oddball spirit? It was like everyone wanted to be a daring unorthodox rebel, only the problem was they all wanted to be the same one.

The next group was no better. Pablum, dreary, steriotypical, and about as engrossing as a dead fly. The description could be applied to every unimaginative louse she'd set eyes on all night. It was practically depressing.

She leaned back, fingers curled around the metal pole and keeping her weight balanced. The sky, she thought as she idly sought its luminant white disk, was just as drab as the club. No stars, no moon, just uniform grey cloud. Didn't anything interesting ever happen in this town? Months of monotony seemed to stretch out behind her. Maybe it was time to leave.

The door of the club slammed shut once more, and after a moment, the sound of footsteps on pavement.

After pacing the theatre stage for some time, Xan stopped himself and stood facing the red dusty seats, eyes fixed on nothing in particular. He was zoning out on his thoughts, totally lost in them. Most of it was now guilty thought, dwelling over his past mistakes. Why had he gone and done what he had done? Why had he been so unaware of it all? Those questions could be answered if he really tried to come up with an answer, but he was all too distracted to.

But not all of his thoughts were on the past. Some of it was still on what was to happen the rest of the night and the next night to come. What was going to happen? How was he going to deal with turning the boy into a vampire? Xan knew he could answer those questions too, but he didn?t have the effort to. So instead he just let them run through his head, begging to be answered.

Pulling his eyes away from the seats, Xan turned towards the backstage and started his steps up, walking through the curtains. His hand was now soaked in blood and he had to go change the bandage. So he made his way through the mess of props to the dressing room where to gauze and tape was. Soon finding it, he carefully tore the old bandages off and threw them away, wincing at the pain he caused himself as he took it all off. He winced again as he put a new batch on, finding that the hand was still horribly soar and was going to take quite a while to heal. Once he finished, he placed his hurt hand in his pocket and pulled his hood over his head, storming out of the door and back to the stage.

Minalee Luce slowly lowered her eyes from the flat grey sky, swinging her right leg slightly. Her soft, fiery hair fell in a way that almost completely concealed her striking eyes.. just thrilling glimpses of forget-me-not blue.

"Aw, is it that obvious?" She grinned at the pair, wiggling her violet-painted toes. Straightening slightly, she lifted her head. The motion shifted part of her hair, unveiling one vivid blue eye.

Humans, she thought with a smidgen of smugness. The both of them. She could smell their blood, warm, thick, pulsing, mortal. The Fountain of Youth held not water. One was a female, the one that had spoken. The one that had known her for what she was. Mildly interested, her gaze roamed over the human. Twining brown hair, a harsh strand here and there glinting gold. Dark eyes that could have been either brown or green, though in tonight they just looked black. A charming hint of freckles, well shaped lips and arching eyebrows... she was attractive, not in that hideous barbie blonde way, but a natural sort of attractive. Like clear, clean spring water. The vampire approved, and moved on to the male.

Well-brushed light brown hair, fitting smoothly to the shape of his head, and a young face that just begged for a dimple. His bangs were cut just sort of getting into his eyes, very trim, very tidy. All in all, he looked like a well-laundered fourteen year old, an A-student, star of the soccer team. Somehow, she didn't think he associated much with the living dead. The outside of one eyebrow rose, and her gaze flicked back to the girl.

OOC: Just out of curiousity, how can Vanessa tell someone's a vamp just by looking at their face, if they have their mouth closed? O_. (Scuse me if its a silly question.)

Steven looked at the dark brown colored grown and then the turned his head to stare into Venessa's eyes. His deeps blues eyes just focused on hers while she talked , Then he focused his attion(SP?) on the vampire she pointed out. He turned to see her on the fence just dangling her feet over. He stood there examining her with his mouth open and his body still like the night he said with out a move "What are we going to do?". Then her turned and looked at her his face blank

bic: "It's fine." She said facing steven but still eyeing the vampire closely,"She might not do anything, but if she does..."Vanessa opened a side of her jacket so steven could see the inside, revealing a wooden stake,"I'll take care of it"she then grabbed an extra one out of her purse and handed it to him,"here keep that hidden, chances are, more will come. Just ram that through thier heart and there gone."

OOC:

Oh, ok xD

BIC:

Luce watched the pair with the hint of a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I can hear you." Her seventeen-year-old voice held the hint of a singsong. A mocking one. "Where'd your manners run off to?"

Laughing, she slid off the chain fence, her simple black dance skirt flaring as she dropped. The rattle of the cheap metal links, an insignificant sound, seemed suddenly loud.

She landed in a slight crouch.

"First, you talk about me in third person as if I could not hear you perfectly well. I am neither an animal, nor an object."

She straightened, her flower-petal mouth curved into a smile.

"Then you threaten me, though I haven't offered you harm."

Her stride was unhurried, as she walked towards them. Loose confidence, fluidity, chin lifted. A pillar of energy rising towards the invisible stars, a dancer's walk.

"And then you ignore me once again. What is it, love?" She laughed, stepping towards Steven. Invading the **** out of his bubble, but not an inch of her body or clothing touched his. "What are you so afraid of?" she whispered, and even the mild eye contact she made with him was so much more intimite than skin against skin. "Your heart sounds like hummingbird wings."

The tip of a white canine peaked out as she smiled.

Thrusting a pair of doors at the front of the theatre open, Xan stepped out into the darkness of the night, his eyes scanning the streets. Even though he had told himself before that he was going to stay inside the whole night, he couldn?t stand it. He needed to get out and free his mind for a little bit. So he pulled his hoodie over his head more and started down the deserted street, hands down at his sides. His eyes were fixed on the road ahead and only the road ahead and nothing else, as if he was onto something. But really, he was just trying to come up with a place to go. But thinking of nothing, he decided he?d just keep wandering the streets until he came up with something.

As he walked down another paved sidewalk, Xan noticed three people standing off ahead. Two of which he recognized. He stopped farther off, just able to hear and see what was going on. He could tell that the red head was a vampire from the way they were talking and how they were acting. Observing from afar was a way Xan learned many things and liked to approach things that he wasn?t a part of, yet.

He wasn?t going to make a move to interfere yet because he wanted to get a good understand of what was happening. He was just going to observe and watch until he felt the need to jump in, unless he never felt that need. So Xan hung back, eyes shifting over each person; the vampire, Steven and Vanessa.

Steven started to walk forward will Vennessa's words. Then when the mocking voice of the vampire acered he turned and looked at her. He turned back acting like she didn't say anythings. Then the chattering of the chain link fence made him jump around to look at her. He stood in his blank standing mood as she talked , then he looked at Vennessa as she walked twards him and then back to Luce. When she steped infront of him he steped back stareing into her blueish green dark eyes. He watched her face as she talked again "I'm not afraid,I'm not going to put up with one of you again" He said in a strong way
