Dakota sat there silently, keeping his eyes out for any sign of Keela or someone he knew. He watched doctors, nurses and patients pass, soon becoming very bored. There weren't even any magazines to look at, which was odd for a waiting area. The TV in the corner was on, but it was the news and he didn't like watching it. Seeing the girl come out that was with Taylor when he fell, he watched her come over, seeing that she was crying. When she soon spoke to him, he was almost surprised by her sudden flow of tears and begging. He was startled, but stayed calm. "I-I won't tell her," he said, his voice somewhat quiet. He wouldn't tell Keela unless she absolutely forced it out of him.

Faith looked up after he sad he wouldn't "Thanks" She looked back down and listened to the doctors and nurses come in and out preping him for the operation. She started to cry more knowing this was all her falt. She knew what she had to do. She looked back up at the boy "Can you do me a favor?" She said silently tears still steaming down her face. She didn't know that she cared this much for Taylor

Keela was telling her brother all that he would miss if he died. Soon enough the doctor walked into the room. Slowly and quietly the door slid open and light filled the room. "It's time." the doctor said. Keela left the room, walked down the hallway right pass Dakota. She saw he was sitting by Faith. Walking by she didn't even glance at the the two. Stopping in front of a vending machine she pulled a dollar out of her pocket and pressed the water button.

Dakota watched the girl cry for another moment before directing his gaze back out at the rest of the waiting area and halls. Seeing Keela walk by without giving a passing glance, he sighed, knowing this must be hard for her. Hearing the girl's voice again, he looked at her. "Uh, I guess," he answered, not too sure about what she would want him to do.

Keela opened her water and took a long drink. Leaning back against the wall she slid down into a crouching position. Tears poured down her face. Embarrased she stood head down, and walked down past Dakota one more time. Hurrying she ran into the bathroom locking herself in a stall and lifted her feet off the ground. Sitting there she stood quickly and turned. Head facing the toliet. Throwing up the things she had eaten for the past 2 days. She suddenly felt better. Running water in her mouth she swished and spit. Trying to make the redness of her eyes go down she wet paper towels and layed them on her eyes. Not working she went to a different waiting room and curled up in the fetal postition thinking of her brother.

Looking around to see Keela running away towards the bathroom, Dakota became worried. He sat there, afraid of how she was reacting to all of this. He waited nervously for her to come back out, but only found that when she did, she ran to a different area. Holding his pointer finger up at the girl, it meant for her to wait while he went to find Keela. Getting up out of the chair, he followed the same path as she had taken, soon seeing her in a horrible condition. He hurried over to her and kneeled beside her, worried. "Are you okay?" he asked, concerned.

Before Faith could tell him what she wanted him to do Keleen walked ast and he ran after he like a little puppy. Seeing the doctor take Taylor out of his room she started to cry some more. She couldn't handle being there. Wipping tears away from her face, she stood up and walked outside into the chilly night air. She started to walk to her house. Warm tears were still steaming down her face. She had no one to confort her or a shoulder to cry on.

Dakota looked at her with sympathy in his eyes, knowing how hard it must be on her. He held her tight when she hugged him, stroaking her head gently. When she pulled away to get a tissue, he just kneeled there, watching her with his dark eyes. "I'm really sorry."

Dakota looked down at the ground when she first spoke, nodding after. He slowly looked back up after she spoke the second time, not so sure about answering that. He had promised that other girl, but he couldn't lie to Keela, not now. But he wasn't one to break a promise, even if it was someone he didn't know. He just bit his own lip, trying to almost procrastinate for as long as possible.

Dakot loked down once more, but then looked up when she started to talk again. Watching her get up, he knew he had to tell her, she had a strong reason to know why. Standing up, he sat down in the chair beside her, looking out at the rest of the room. "Okay. Well that girl, whatever her name is, s-she.... she pushed him and that's how he fell," he said, looking back over at Keela to see her reaction. He was worried what it would be, but knew he'd have to face it.

Still crying and wipping away tears she walked into her house. On top of all of this her mom was past out on the couch again. Walking into her room she opened a drawer and pulled out a yellow enolope. Shoving it into her jacket she headed out side and back to the hospital. Walking inside she seen Keleen and the other guy. "Before you can say anything..I'm sorry and didn't mean it" She said softly looking at her

"How can you be sorry" Keela said standing. "HE MIGHT NOT MAKE IT!" She spat at the girl. Coming to this realization made the tears come harder, and fast. Her face feeling hot she felt sick. A nurse appeared hearing the yelling. Taking Keela's hand she made a movement to lead her away.

Dakota watched her react to this new imformation, but was somewhat relieved when she didn't totally explode. She did have some serious water works, but it wasn't horrible. He wanted to comfort her, but before he got the chance, the girl was back and saying things that made Keela even more mad. He just sat there, not knowing what to do. Seeing Keela soon being pulled away, he jumped up and watched the other girl leave. Dakota looked down at the envalope she had left and then grabbed it, knowing he should at least deliver it for her. He soon went over to the room where they had taken her, but saw it was closed, so he just stood out against the wall, waiting for when he could go in.

Hearing a voice, he looked up from the tile ground to see a nurse. Nodding at her in reply, he pushed off the wall and towards the room. After walking within it, he pulled the door shut behind him. Dakota looked up to see her laying there, looking miserable as ever. He walked over to her slowly, knowing she was probably asleep. Pulling a chair up beside the bed, he carefully took her hand and kissed it lightly, as if she would just magically wake up.

Dakota saw her suttle movement, but didn't jump for her, knowing she probably wasn't going to wake if they had drugged her. He sat there quietly and held her hand, watching her sleep, seeing the almost uncomfort on her face. He couldn't do anything about it, so he sighed and waited, not knowing how long this'd last.

[[Okay then. G'night. =D]]

Dakota had sat there the whole time, waiting quietly for her to awake. It hadn't been a fun few hours, he had gotten quite bored and tired, but somehow he managed to keep up and waiting. So when she did stir, he smiled an was relieved that this wasn't going to last all night.... Unless she fell asleep again. "Hey," he said back softly after she had spoken.

Dakota's smile feel when she mentioned her brother. He hadn't left the room once, so he hadn't heard a thing. "Well no. But do you want me to go find out?" he asked, knowing it'd be a good thing to do for her since she needed the support and help at the moment.

Dakota let a small smile slip onto his lips after she spoke and kissed him. He was glad she was at least up to getting up and finding out herself. Getting up off the chair, he watched her get off, but got worried when she first wobbled. He still hedl her hand and then stood beside her, wanting her to lead the way.
