Looking up at the teacher again, he acted like he was payig attention just so the teacher wouldn't suspect him of his note passing. After a moment, he started drumming his fingers on the edge of the table, just to keep himself occupied while he waited for Ollie to pass the note back. Or throw it, as that's what they were really doing. And soon enough, she did throw it back and he quickly bent down and snatched it off the ground, unfolding it and reading it with a small grin.

Haha, yeah. I hate the first day of school. It's all talk from the teachers.

He wrote quickly, just because he always did. His handwriting was too sloppy, though, but it wasn't neat either. Wadding the paper up. He glanced up to make sure the teacher was still writing on the board. Giving the ball a good throw, he watched as it sailed through the air quickly and landed on the edge of her lab table. That was best he'd thrown in a while. Grinning, he sat back again and nodded some hair out of his eyes so he could pretent to watch the teacher again.

Ollie picked up the note ignoring the glower she received from her current lab partner. Ignoring the girl beside her, she picked the note up and read it. Automatically her mind agreed with him, the first day of school was such a rip off. At the sound of approaching footsteps she picked her pen up and locked eyes with the approaching teacher pretending to take notes. He quickly stepped away though looked agitated. Forcing herself not to roll her eyes she began to write him back.

I agree with you. Honestly who cares? I wouldn?t be here if it wasn?t for practice after school, and the fact that my brother made me drive with him today.

Immediately she crumpled the note up and tossed it behind her head as the teacher wrote down what they would need for the school year. She feigned a yawn just to annoy the teacher. The note landed somewhere on the lab table. She didn?t really know where, throwing wasn?t her thing, that was why she did soccer.

Ryker watched as Ollie scribbled something down on the note, but quickly looked back up when the teacher walked by his table. He looked up at the man, giving him a emotionless look. After the teacher passed and was back up front, he made a face at him just to mock the teacher. Seeing a note coming flying onto the table-top, he uncrossed his arms and grabbed it, carefully unfolding it so the teacher wouldn't really notice him if he turned around.

Same here. We all revolve around soccer then, eh?

He finished scribbling right when the teacher turned around, but looked as if Ryker had been writing down school notes, not notes to friends. He smirked at the teacher's back when he turned back around before crumpling the paper up again and tossing, this time not watching to see where it landed.

Ollie was mindlessly picking apart her lab partner's new eraser. She couldn't help herself, she needed something to occupy her thoughts other then the droning voice of the teacher. The note landed in front of her partner. Dropping the eraser she quickly grabbed it before her partner did. Reading the note she had to grin slightly.

Is there any other life? According to my brother and father that isn?t.

The last bit was more a jib and her older brother. The seemingly perfect, All-American, son. Good at athletics and academics, with a good personality. Pushing these thoughts from her mind she tossed it behind her head as the teacher was walking towards the front of the classroom. She was aiming for Ryker though had no idea if she made it that far or not.

Hands placed behind his head with his elbows poking out, leaning back again. He tilted his head back a little, looking up at the ceiling's interesting tiles, each one having holes all over it. Biting his lip by one of his lip rings, he started counting the holes out of boredom. It was entertaining because he had to start over at least five times.

But a piece of paper flew over his head, right through his line of vision. Sitting up, he turned around and looked at it. It was the paper he and Ollie had been passing. It landed on the person's table behind him. He tried to grab it, but the boy grabbed it first, holding it up in a mocking way. Ryker glared and tried to grab it again, but the teacher's monotone voice called out his name.

"Mr. McIlroy."

Turning around slowly, he looked at the teacher, an eyebrow cocked in question.

"Come here, please."

"Thanks", Lilly said as she walked slowley towards her class room, the halls were beggining to empty and she turned to walk backwards, "Hay, would you mind not telling to many people, i HATE haveing people feel sorry for me". She said putting extra emphasis on the word hate. She walkd in to her first period class, She noticed Ryker and Ollie, She quickley smiled at them and sat down in one on the front seats. She waited for Alexandria to tell the teacher why she was late.

Ollie frowned slightly as Ryker was called to the front of the classroom. A twinge of guilt set in the pit of her stomach and she couldn't rid of it. She was just as guilty as Ryker was and deserved part of the lecture, or whatever the teacher was planning on doing. After all she had been the one to throw the note that had landed him in to trouble. Biting her bottom lip she nervously brushed a tendril of hair that had fallen to far in to her face for her liking behind her average sized ear.

As Alexandria and the sobbing cheerleader that Ollie had previously encountered entered the room a true frown ignited it's way across her stunning features. Wiping it off of her face she made her features look neutral and calm. Not offering a returning smile to the nameless cheerleader she instead interested herself in picking at her short, but clean nails. Making nice with a cheerleader was not something that happened to be on her agenda for the day. The only reason she knew Alexandria's name was due to the fact that Alexandria ran around in the same, 'jockage', circle that her brother chose to be apart of.

Turning her attention back to Ryker and the teacher she listened attentively trying to catch something the teacher was saying or read his lips. She completely tuned out the girl sitting beside her who took it upon herself to inform Ollie what would occur throughout the year as she had already read a hundred things pertaining to this class alone.

-------

Eric made his way down the aluminum tiled flooring painted the school colors of blue and white. A pattern was speckled somewhere in the flooring though he payed no attention to it. He carried a pencil in his right hand along with a navy spiral bound notebook. In it he would record everything he'd need for his classes, and things like that.

His first period class, English, was what he was rushing to get to. He had Miss Salsbury, who was an amazing teacher and you would be prepared for any college when you were done with her. That was if you could handle her work load and manage good grades. Taking a seat in the middle of the classroom he attentively looked up as the young woman walked in to the classroom.

Alexanderia gave a soft nod to anwser Lilly's request to not tell everyone about her problem. She walked into the science lab slowly, and all the eyes of the studends were drawn upward and were fixed on both Lilly and herself. She noticed the teacher up and lecturing the class about animal cells before they emerged through the door.

As Lilly walked to her seat, Alexa noticed Ollie, Eric's younger sister staring at the pair, but paid her no heed as she crossed over to the teacher.

She leaned in closely as if to not allow any of the other students to hear her conversation with the teacher. She took a step back and gave a slight nod, as the teacher gave a weak returning smile to say she understood.

Finally Alexa turned on her heels and walked out of the classroom without uttering another word.

Alexanderia closed the door behind her and took a step toward the wall and took a deep breath to collect her throughts about what had just happened.SHe wasn't really too worried about her class this hour, all she had was Office Aide, and the Office didn't really care where she was as long as she was on school groudns and not doing anything aginst school policy.

It was then that she noticed Eric walk down the hall, assuming he was heading toward his class.

Lilly was greatfull for Alexandrias help and smiled to her as she left. Proping her chin in her hands she tryed to look like her normal happy self. The teacher gave her a sad smile and Lilly avoided eye contact with her. She waited to hear what was going to be happening in class but insted the teacher walked over and put a hand on her sholder. Lilly sat up strighter as the teacher told her if she needed to talk she was here, the teacher went on for a few seconds about how she knew how she felt. Lilly just nodded feeling the others eyes on her. She gave a smile, a weak one at that, Trying to cover up her true feelings.

Quietly walking up to the front of the classroom, Ryker's auroral eyes glanced over at Olivia's face as he passed her. He knew she was part of the reason why he was called up, but he wasn't going to blame it on her. Looking back over at the teacher, he took the last few steps up to him before stopping just short of him. Ryker crossed his arms over his chest and watched the teachers, his expression not the least phased by any of this, or at least giving the cover that he wasn't. He listened to what he said, giving a short nod after each few words, to show him he was listening. Most of it was along the lines of, 'Goofying off isn't going to get you anywhere this year' and 'Do this again and you'll get worse punishment than just a talk'.

But when two girls entered the room, both Ryker and the teacher looked over. Seeing it was Lilly and a senior, he knew his lecture was pretty much over. He kept his eyes on the teacher as he started to back away, making sure he wasn't going to get yelled at for doing so. When he was a safe distance away, he turned and went straight to his seat. Sitting down, he looked at the teacher, making sure he was distracted before turning around and facing the boy who had grabbed the note. Grabbing a pencil off the desk, he lifted it up and bopped the kid on the head, just to show him that he was still mad. Quickly grabbing the wade of paper out of his hand and dropping the pencil, he turned around before the kid could strick back.

Opening the paper, he read it quickly and then looked up, first at the teacher, then at the back of Ollie's head. Grabbing his own pencil, he scribbled a quick reply. Even though he could get caught again for passing the note again, he would chance it anyways.

Huh, well whatever. You wanna skip next class with me? I'm going to the field and it'd be boring all by myself....

Ryker didn't exactly mean ditching the next class, for it was a study hall for him. Hopefully she had it too so they could spend it somewhere else. And elsewhere, he meant the soccer field. He wanted to get some practice in before the actual practice after school, which he hadn't exactly prepared for. He had done that a few times last year during study hall on the days he didn't have anything to study. And he could always make up the best excuse to whoever was 'watching' the class for why he wouldn't be there.

Crumpling the note up, he watched the teacher for a moment, waiting until he turned around. A minute later he finally did and Ryker tossed the note in Ollie's direction again, watching it sail through the air, but not having enough time to see where it landed. But it looked as if it was heading straight to her. Seeing the teacher start to turn around, he poised his pencil over an empty sheet of paper, as if he was taking notes. He was good a posing too.

Ollie relaxed slightly as the teacher didn?t really do anything to Ryker. Not that he would have. As much as she hated to admit it they were jocks, they got the same special treatment from the teachers. The majority of Ollie?s teacher wouldn?t lay a finger on her if it?d prevent her from playing the upcoming game. A small, grin appeared on her face as the note landed almost directly in her lap. Reading it slowly she understood what she meant and realized she had photography next. Which in all honesty wasn?t a class you needed to be there for unless they were developing, and even that she could do at home. She figured that Mr. Romnes wouldn?t mind if she missed the first day of class. It wasn?t anything but reviewing. Deciding that she?d bring her camera along, just in case there was the perfect opportunity she quickly wrote her answer back before the teacher looked back from his conversation.

If you mean the soccer fields then of course.

This time she turned around to face him before throwing it back making sure it?d at least land on his lab table. The teacher(have we named him yet?) was still deep in discussion with the cheerleader that had previously walked in when she turned back around. Tapping her tattered converses against the white aluminum flooring they made little, if any noise and yet the girl beside her was glowering at her as if she was banging pots and pans together. Getting an impish urge to push the girl out of her seat Ollie decided to simply ignore this childish urge and gritted her teeth instead.

Now she couldn?t wait until the class was over, more so then before. She adored photography but soccer was in her blood and always on her mind. Of course having company while out there, especially with a guy could always improve her game. She?d played with the guys forever thanks to her brother and her skills had become vast compared to the other girls on the team. Then again they did have a solid team this year, she?d spent all summer conditioning them and working out schedules with the coaches. This was in between a few vacations and an uncountable amount of concerts and time on the beach. Twisting her brown locks over one shoulder she began mindlessly counting her split ends, not that she actually cared, she merely needed something to occupy her mind.

As he waited for Ollie to reply, Ryker surprisingly wrote down some notes. He knew that if you didn't get some of the first day notes down, it would come back and haunt you later in the year. Nodding some hair out of his eyes as he looked up at the board, hand moving along as he wrote, he played around with a lip ring with his tongue. He couldn't help it, it had always been a habit of his to do when he was writing notes or something of that nature. His eyes flickered up and down from the paper to the board a few times as he wrote, not really knowing what he was writing down, except that it was something of importantance.

When the ball of paper landed just off to the left of his hand, he reached his free one over and took it. Letting go of his pencil he unfolded the paper and reading it with illusive eyes.

Okay, sweet. Meet me out there after class is over.

He wrote quickly before wadding the paper up and again and directing his eyes back on the teacher. He was still writing notes, wow. Throwing the paper back, he watched it, knowing it'd land close to her again. Looking away, his eyes glanced at his still-empty partner's seat. He guessed he'd be partner-less for a while, which he didn't mind at all.

Eyes back on his paper, he buried his head back into writing notes, just so the period would go faster. It always worked that way, somehow. Ryker couldn't wait 'til after class and hurried the class along, trying his hardest to not stare at the clock and beckon it to go faster.

Tucker stepped out of the car and grabbed his bag out of the back seat. That morning had been horrible. His alarm went off late and he was the one who woke up his younger sister. It took her an hour to get ready so they were late. The tension in the car could be cut with a knife.

Sicilly was swimming in her letterman's jacket. It made the small girl seem teeny. She was mad at her brother so she walked into the school without him.

After the two had convinced the office that they had a valid reason for being late, they went to their first period class. . Sicilly on the other hand sat in the middle of the room.

The only people that Sis knew were Ollie and Ryker. She grabbed a pen and a peice of paper and sat waiting for further intruction.

Teddy walked down the hallway trying to avoid class. Seeing a blond haired, brown eyed beauty he smiled. "Hey Alexa."

Ollie watched as the note landed beside her chair. Bending down slightly she picked it up and read it quickly. A subtle nod told she understood, but figured passing the note back wouldn?t be worth the risk of it getting taken away and then the teacher finding out about their plans. Picking her black pen back up she listened to the teacher but at the same time doodled on her paper. It amazed people when they found out the grades she received. Ollie rarely did her homework and yet aced every test. She never listened to lectures and could answer any question the teacher would ask of her at almost any given point. It was a gift she was glad to have been given.

On the paper she had created different drills to work on at practice and was figuring out who she felt she be on the starting line up for the first game of the season. Which didn?t happen to be for another eight weeks, but that was fine. Nothing wrong with being over-prepared for a soccer game. They had been undefeated the previous year and when the old captain had handed the torch to her a huge responsibility had been passed to her as well. Rolling her shoulders she focused intently on the doodle, figuring she?d do something to learn about what they had accomplished that day in class. Maybe ?borrow? the girl beside her notes.

Gritting her teeth once again she waited impatiently for the bell to ring. Her feet tapping continued and her energy level was riveting throughout her entire body. She hated these natural ?highs? where she just couldn?t sit still. At one point she?d been told she had ADD though she thought that disease was a total crock and pretty much refused to take her medicine. The clock seemed to move exceedingly slowly and that made her clench her jaw line harder.

The fair tones, and beautifully featured Alexanderia was standing with a heavy heart as she stared at the white tiles on which she stood. She had such a blank expression, but she was quickly brought back to reality by the soft and lulling tone of a male voice.

She quickly regonized the voice to be that of the hunky football player Teddy. She brought her head up to attention, her eyes now brought abck to life and bright. She forced her usual beautiful smile as he neared, and greated her warmly.

"Oh hello Teddy, what are you doing getting here so late? And on the first day of school?Shame."She finally anwsered in her soft voice to hide all of her emotions to give no tale of her thoughts as the toyed with him playfully.

Eye flickering from the board, to the paper he was writing on, and then to the clock, Ryker had a pattern going on. He was doing his notes, but keeping an eye on the ever-so slow time. He ushered it to go faster, but it wouldn't. And that bugged him. He wanted to go play soccer, run around, and let his wild energy out. It was all just balled up inside of him. So he started bouncing a heel of his foot up in down, his leg moving up and down quickly. It didn't make noise at all, but it was a way to keep his ansty feet from going crazy.

Soon, he glanced at the clock for the hundredth time, seeing something he had been waiting for. Only two more minutes until the period was over. Two. Smiling lightly, he looked back up at the board, his blue eyes lighting up again, for they had been dull earlier. He just had to sit through about one-hundred and ten more seconds, then he'd be free to run around the soccer field as many times as he wanted. Yes.

Setting his pencil down, he gathered his few sheets of paper up and stuffed them into his binder, then putting his pencil away. Ryker looked up again afterwards, hair flopped in his eyes. He watched the teacher impatiently, knowing he'd only have to hold himself down in this seat a little longer....

"I was....I was....Well you know how it goes, alarm not working.." Teddy's voice has rough and shaky. It was obivous that he was working to keep it under control. It wasn't that he was nervous, he just felt that he should be. "Oh," he had regained control and the boy's voice was smooth and soft. "Do you want to go to a bonfire tonite?"

Alexanderia a soft sigh to hold back her easy giggle to his uneasiness."Oh yeah I know I've been there numberous times, but never on the first day of school"She picked at him playfully, her light curls drapping gracefully over her eyes of golden haze that appeared to capitavate all who gazed upon them.

She a beautiful smile to grace her rouged lips as he asked her to the bonfire that was tonight.Alexa formed to mouth to the words that were about to drip from her lips, but a simple shreak and a shuttered jump came into play as the bell inturupted her thoughts. She turned around and gave an icy stare up at the silver gleamed bell that was directly above their heads, as if to curse it for it awful timing.

She retraiced her gave back to Tucker. Her eyes were brought abck to their usual state of brightness, and a soft mysteriousness as before."Now before I was so rudly interupted,..."She stated with a soft laugh as she threw her hair out of her vision with a simple sweep of her head."Yes I am going, why do you ask?"Alexa contuined sweetly.

Alexanderia was unsure what it was that attracted her to Tucker, was it his charm that poured from his personality, his georgous eyes that glowed, his perfect body, or was it that she was just simply attracted to the jocks of the school?

Seening a light in her eyes, Teddy reached his hand down for hers. Linking his fingers with her he smiled. "Do you want to go with me?" he asked with a huge smiled.

Teddy was attracted to blondes. Brunettes reminded him of his sister. He knew how to wind girls around his finger.

Ollie seemed to spring up from her seat as soon as the bell rang. Picking up her doodle she folded it up neatly and shoved it in to her pocket. It had started as nothing though had slowly evolved in to something a tad more. While it was goofy, and almost cartoony in the middle of the page sat the principal of the school, he was yelling at someone about being to much of an individual. That was merely how the world worked nowadays though. Releasing an almost pathetic excuse for a sigh she tossed her hair in to a quick high ponytail. The tips of her locks grazed the top of her shoulder.

Lunch time, which translated to the soccer fields for her. While she had already gone with Ryker(that okay?) during second she wanted to make sure that she was on top of her game for practice later that afternoon. Heading to her locker she grabbed her duffel and headed to the girl's locker room. Changing quickly she pulled on the elasticy, navy shirt and a pair of navy spandax and white meshy shorts. Slipping in to her own cleats, a well-worn pair of black Nikes she grabbed her 'school' soccer ball. A neat navy and white regulation sized ball and tucked it under her arm.

Breathing in deeply the smell of the empty summer locker room she relaxed her nervous muscles and headed out of the locker room. Taking her time she headed towards the back door to that would then lead her down steps, a path, and finally the soccer stadium. Pausing by a water fountain she took a few sips, recollecting what her brother had informed her of the previous week. Being captain is hard. If you loose you're blamed, if you win you're told what you could have done better. The chastising thoughts lingered in her mind as the cool clear liquid splashed in to her mouth.

-----

Eric headed towards his locker. They'd already been assigned an essay in English and he was eager to get to work on it. First though he figured he could get something in to his digestive system. Seeing his sister walk by in her soccer attire he frowned. She hadn't had breakfast that morning and guessing by her clothing she didn't plan on lunch.

Pushing his concern for his sister from his head he wandered down the halls debating on if he should go off campus, or grab something quick from the cafeterria. Pondering these thoughts he unconsiously headed towards the library. Rearranging where he was headed he instead headed the opposite way towards the parking lot. He figured he may as well go off campus.

Lilly herd the bell ring and exhaled loudley, finaly she could excape! She jumped up and trotted out of the class room as soon as the door opend. Shuting her books and bag in to her locker, she grabed her car keys. She wanted to go out to eat, she didnt feel like sitting around with her usual croud. They would be gossiping or fighting and she wanted no part of it. Heading towards her shiney car she saw Eric, she smiled and slowed down to say hi.

Hearing the all important bell ring, Ryker got up a little slower than intended. He would have jumped from his seat like it was on fire, but he had calmed just a little in the past minute and a half. Grabbing his bag and stuffing his things inside, he slung it over a shoulder and started for the door. Flipping his perfectly styled hair out his glowing eyes, he followed the last few students out of the room. He was back out into the sturdy flow of bodies in a flash.

Now, a period later, he wsa back into the small, crowded hall after spending some time on the soccer field with Ollie. It had been fun, but nothing compared to the actual practice that lay ahead for him that afternoon. But he pushed it all away, trying not to upset himself or making himself nervous. He had to keep his confidence up.

Already putting his things away, he started to the cafeteria, but paused halfway there. Did he really want to eat cafeteria food on the first day? Ryker contemplated the situation for the moment, scooting subconsciously over to the side of the hall so he wouldn't get run over by any pushy students. Fussing with a lip ring while he did so, he decided that wouldn't be such a good choice to eat the school's food. It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't too lovely either.

So with a quick motion, he spun on a heel and headed back in the direction of his locker. He didn't intent to go anywhere, but just skip lunch. Unless he got too hungry. Then he would walk himself home, which was conveniently only three minutes away. And Ryker reached his locker within another minute, taking his time opening it. When it was open, he dug through his messenger bag to grab his iPod. Shutting the locker again, he stuffed the earbuds in his ears and turned the device on. Picking another hard alternative punk song, he lowly started nodding his head to the beat as he started down the hall for the second time.

Indifferently making his way down the hall, he only aknowledged anyone who gave him a nod or wave in his direction. He wasn't the most popular kid in the school, but he was well-known and noticed by a majority of the kids. Ryker made his way past the cafeteria and down to the back of the school, which took a long enough walk to get him through a song and a half. When he got to the end, he pushed the swinging doors open and stepped out into the bright and pleasent day. He squinted a little, his bright eyes shaded behind his ever so useful hanging hair.

Looking around the grounds, it wasn't too eventful out in the back of the school, but it was a nice place to just walk around and be able to keep to yourself. Starting down the cement path, he made his way down the sidewalk that curved through the grassy grounds, heading in the direction it took him, which could be anywhere because he wasn't really paying much attention.

Biting her bottom lip in silent concentration Ollie took the silence of the fields as an opportunity to work on solo drills. Simple things, dribbling, passing to cones, and things like that. The spokes on the bottom of cleats moved over the freshly mowed fields with a certain amount of grace. Bending down she picked up a large stack of cones and set up an obstacle type scenario. Nodding in slight approval of the course she picked up the soccer ball. Taking her IPod up from the navy bench it had been sitting on she plugged the earbuds in to her ears.

Cranking the volume full blast she absorbed herself in it and the ball inbetween her feet. Warming up she began a smooth jog around the stadium sized soccer field. Doing three laps around it she slowed once again to grab her ball and did one more lap dribbling the ball with either foot. Unlike most players she wasn't dominant with one foot, equally skilled with each of them was a rare gift that she was mildly proud of though would never admit that to anyone. Gritting her teeth in concentration she made sure each step, each breath, was planned and perfectly applied. That was the only thing her father expected from her, and from that the only thing she expected from herself.

If someone were to come down at that moment they would see a jock simply practicing on the field because they needed to. Though she was simply an athletic girl who wanted to give up her lunch to perform the sport she so adored. Manuvering herself through cone after cone, seeing orange flashes in her peripheral visions made her almost sick to her stomach. Pausing as she passed the bench she took a rather long sip from her water bottle and flipped her IPod to a better song. No laboured breathing emitted from her body and she moved on to work on a different skill, with a different drill.

-----

Seeing the junior in front of him slow down to say hello Eric moved to catch up with her. Lily was a cheerleader whom his sister detested merely because she was indeed a cheerleader. Flipping his keys around his finger he placed them in his pocket where they sat beside a white Apple phone.

"Hey, what's up?" he asked directing his easy-going words towards her
