Let's See Pictures Of Those Paint And Pintos!

Recommended Posts

We just recently brought home our paint, Chief.

He's 16.2hh, sorrel and white tobiano, gelding.

Chief is a horse that has quite the history with our family... been owned by three different people in the family, twice by my husband and I, lol... he's just one of those horses you just don't want to give up and then when you do you regret it!

He's my husband's horse, though my job to put the miles on, as he's still pretty green. My plan for him is to turn him into a steady and sound trail horse for my husband.

I can post a picture of the "family" horse who happens to be a paint. He is a sweet boy who is not getting used right now and it's a shame. All he really needs are miles.

Here is Levi:

This is my 12 year old Paint gelding Rock..he isn't registered and he's just under 14 hands but I love him anyways. He doesn't like my husband much and he can be a big scaredy cat of lots of things so you have to stay on your toes while riding him. I hope to put more riding time on him this spring/summer while I'm also breaking my 3 year old Quarter Horse.

Hope I can get this pic to come through, if not his picture is on my profile. Have a great day!

They do look alot alike tardy! My guy is registered the same, as a red roan overo. Do you know anything about Opie's color genetics? Is he sabino like my guy or is he just roan? Sorry I keep calling him "my guy" but I just bought him and havent come up with a good barn name yet.

My aunt and uncle's Paint mare, Katie (nearly certain she's APHA registered, but I don't know her registered name). She's been a pasture ornament for quite a few years.
