Well keeping fingers crossed on my mare. I will find out in 2weeks if she took or not. This is the second attempt at A.I. with her. The first shipment got lost in transit!!! and missed her cycle. Just bred her on the 16th and 17th of July, and looks like we timed it perfectly. So Will have to wait until Aug 2nd to find out for sure.

Rose is 18yo QH, proven barrel horse, was on top in the 2D and getting faster until she had a really bad injury that halted her barrel racing days. She recovered but won't do barrels again and quickly became a successful heel horse with alot of cow brains and has the biggest heart I have seen. Can't say enough good about her.

Disputed-When do you find out if she took? Have you been breeding her AI or live cover?

Just curious

MMN

I found out yesterday, and we are doing live with her (and hobbles, a twitch and lip chain after what she did last time)

The dummy was suppose to be at the farm now but with all the crap with Abby, it hasn't made it over yet. This week I hope so we can get Royal using the dummy, so we don't have a repeat of this years kicking situation.

YAY!!!! I know how it is. Honey is the same way, only if you even get the stud near her she is kicking and trying to "kill" him. He doesn't even have to mount her. We hobbled, twitched, and even gave her a dose of xylazine and the brat was still trying to fight. She was ultrasounded so I KNOW she was ready and sure enough 14 days later we had a little embryo on the screen. I hate dealing with evil mares she is a nice mare but I might be selling her over this. I am just not set up to AI nor will I be for a while.

Congrats on your little black blob.

MMN

My mare is about four months along and I am thrilled! She's a registered paint and is bred to a large, racing bred TB.

I'm hoping to produce a colored sport horse that can take me to the "A" circuit hunter/jumper rings. Right now my mare is in her first year showing hunters and is sitting in 4th place in the standings (after starting the season halfway through). :) My mare has all the potential in the world, but simply does not have the size to go higher than "B" shows. She's all of 14.3 hh and while she can jump 3'9'' courses without batting an eye, her 11' stride can't compete seriously with the big boys. We're hoping that the stallion can add some size; both horses have big hearts, good attitudes, and great minds.

scooter will be bred here shortly. yep kinda breeding a little bit late. But i bid on a stallion that was on a benefit auction for friends and won.

scooter hopefully will be allowed to be reg. aqha is still pending her (long story) but either way the reulting baby will be my new barrel prospect.

scooter is out of magic- top deck, jet deck, ohio moon, her sire is iron leaguer.

the stallion is justa leaving with an SI98 he is an own son of leaving memories by first down dash by dash for cash and his dam goes back to easy jet.

Now im one that does not like to breed the same bloodlines that sires and mares have BUT i really need to revamp my lines so im hoping this will be a filly.

I will have everything ready by late next yr to have a baby on the farm so that will not be a problem.

So i will hopefully have a baby on the ground or a late baby hopefully with scooter being a maiden everything will go ok.

I have 2 cooking for next year, both about 5 months along. The TB mare bred to my Arabian cutting stallion for an Anglo, and Arabian mare Khontessa, bred back to my other Arabian stallion, hoping for a repeat of the lovely filly I got last time. If the second one's a filly, it's already spoken for.
