Show Me Your Dogs!

Recommended Posts

Im really lonesome for my dog, she's living with my parents because hubby and I are gone a lot, plus we are renting and we cant have pets. So I couldnt bring her to my house or get another dog (as I'd considered).

So, show me the pooches! German Shepherds especially =D

Ohh, I love dog threads! I love the last picture of Ruger, he's a handsome boy!

Here is one of my little boy, Dudley. He's a Pit/wandering neighbor mix  He was a pup here, he turns a year old later this week. This one is too cute not to share...

This is my big boy, Chewy. He is a Lab/Rottie mix, and turned 7 yrs old this summer.

And one of the two boys together, Dud is all grown up in this one (at least physically, mentally he is very much still a puppy!)

And last but not least, my Springer, Brit. I had to have her put to sleep last November shortly before I brought Dudley home, and I miss her every day. She was almost 15 yrs old.

Wow Mona is gorgeous! Ruger too! I want a big dog eventually, but not until I have the room.

Chessa, my 4 year old JRT/Beagle mix. She is just awesome. She's so well behaved and so much fun. I haven't met someone who doesn't like her. My dad has always hated dogs, and he'll pet her and play ball with her. That's a miracle! Lol.

P1010857.jpg

Her with Reese. She's a god-knows-what-mix that showed up 6 years ago and I kept her! She's not very smart or trainable, but she's the happiest, nicest dog you could ever find!

I very seldom carry a camera, but I took one to the lake with me this weekend and snapped some shots of our collie, Skye, enjoying the water. Skye turned 8 this past July, but she won't admit to being any older than 5.

"Arse Crack Jack", snoozin' at a horse show. (People were circling our truck, calling people over to giggle at him... the dog LOVES to sleep!)

What? German shepherds you say? How about a puppy picture.

Here's Charlie. The dog who came into my life, stole my heart, and left far too early.

ETA:

Finally got Photobucket to upload my most recent picture of Bonehead (I mean Dutch) with his foot all wrapped up after his adventure to Red's.

Cute pooches, everyone!

This is my boy Hendrix, a GSD/Collie mix, per the pound's description. I've had him for five years, so he's roughly seven.

hen-1.jpg

Boyfriend's dum dum pit, Sancho.

jackiss.jpg

Precious, a stray he adopted two years ago.

presh-1.jpg

And since you specifically asked for GSDs, here's my dad's bunch of dogs, including his GSD, Cinder.

cinder.jpg

The one-eyed husky, Rosie. She was a rehome from a local vet, as her last owners left her out with two full grown pits and they attacked her and didn't want to pay for surgery.

Gizmo (Momo) the Shih-tzu

And Nikki (more commonly known as Pooh Bear), the husky we had when I was growing up. :angel3:

Here is Henry. 2 yo lab/hound mix. He's sweet as can be, very patient with kids. But he DEFINITELY has the hound "bay" and nothing will make you jump at night more than the way he howls at things through the window.

I don't have German Shepards, but I do have a Border Collie cross. Most of my "friends" on here know Newt, but here are some fun pictures of him.

Here are a few of my dogs!!

This is my Border Collie, Nike:

This was snapped on one of our hikes. She is my best pack dog

My sister's Pomeranian, Rebel:

One of our Great Pyrenees, John:

One spring break, I brought my mother a banana tree home from school. It was snowing outside, so the tree had to be inside. I was a little bummed because all my friends were in Florida, so my sister and I made a tropical paradise for the dogs. This is Sarabi and Ben.

Enjoy! I might be able to search up pics of one of our GSDs.
