So,the barn we moved to has only one flaw.clay!

Is there some product that would help that sticky stuff come off my boots?

Got full body sheet for the horse, and a mask/hood too since she rolls in the clay.grrr!

Sure would be nice to have some product that would help keep it from sticking in the first place. As far as getting it off....water, I guess....and a scrub brush!

Water-proof spray on all clean or new items makes it easier to hose off.

Boot scrapers that can be hosed off help too.

I have three turnout blankets for Sienna since she likes to roll in mud. One is always on her, a second one is drying from being hosed off (I respray with water proofing every 3-4 cleanings) and the third is the next one she is going to be wearing.

It would help if the barn owners roto-tilled into the clay soil all the composted manure and other organic items like shredded leaves/straw, shavings and regular top soil. The place would drain better and the clay wouldn't be a wet slick danger to people and horses.
