Help!

Recommended Posts

My neighbor has a little filly whose left front is pretty pigeon toed. She wants to re-home her and was telling me her vet told her the filly will out grow this, (she is less than 1 year old.) and be in good condition to ride later. Is this true? Should I take on this little filly as a project? ANY advice is much appreciated... Thanks, gang!!

Can you post a picture?

Angular limb deformities have a small window of time, to be corrected, before the growth plates close.Unless that defect is caused by improper foot trimming,, it is not going to self correct over time

Have you spoken to the vet yourself? Unless you just want a pasture ornament, I would get the opinion of your own vet before taking this filly
