I always tape it and watch later, after I know no one fell down. The track is really wet. I picked Royal Mo, but he didn't get in. So, I'll go with Always Dreaming.

Well darn. Always Dreaming, and still full of himself.

My pick came in 2nd. He's a Tulsa owned horse. Surprised me he did that well with 33-1 odds.

IWC usually does real well on a sloppy track. Couldn't build up steam today.

Yeehaw! Did you hear me yelling? I thought he looked tired at the top of the stretch and I didn't think he would do it. I guess the others were tireder. The headline on AOL home page was "Horse Wins the Kentucky Derby." Like what else would win the Ky Derby?!

Heh. Sure wouldn't be ME! He did a great job, all things considered.

The only thing that excites me was Thundersnow coming out of the gate, and apparently thinking he was at the rodeo and not the races.

Always dreaming looked ok, but kinda meh to me. I don't foresee him taking the crown this year. I do wish Patch would have finished a little better.

Yeah, I've never seen one stop on the track and buck. I was afraid he was hurt, but apparently not.

I once watched one buck the first 100 yards down the track, veer right and go trough the rail. It was ugly.
